I have used many different pin brushes for years on Afghan Hound show coat. These brushes are well made and I have used them for a few years now. No pins falling out or sinking into the rubber cushion, rubber cushions stay where they are supposed to. Great brush for the money, and I have used more expensive ones that did not work or last like these brushes .

Bros,I don't think I've ever written an amazon review before. That should say enough.I recently adopted a senior poodle/bichon mix and her fur is like wool!! She is very patient and doesn't mind when I brush her, in fact she scooches her body to show me where to keep brushing. AKA she likes the brush.The brush doesn't always get through her fur in one pass so I have to gently run it thru a couple times but it's all good. Since she lets me brush her fine, my best guess that it doesn't cause her any discomfort.The brush helps get all the dirt out of her wooly fur after walks, and keeps her fur so floofy and soft. The top of her head is so cute and fluffy after brushing haha.It's super sturdy and is nice to hold. Also the wood material is more aesthetically pleasing than the bright purple plastic ones I've seen. And it's made in Germany so you know it's good!!I will also say that ...since my dog doesn't really "shed"...I did try it on my fine/straight hair too..........I've never bought a brush this nice for myself but I guess my dog and I will share it now. (I usually use a Wet Brush for my hair which I thought was good but THIS, people, is a *superior* brush.) It eliminates frizz........ugh.*Also I read the other reviews before buying it and some people were saying one metal piece is missing- it's not!!If you've ever used a regular hairbrush.....you would know that there's sometimes a hole (where it looks like a prong could be missing) but I'm pretty sure it's just for ventilation, not that I'm a hairbrush engineer.Get this brush for your dog, and maybe get one for yourself while you're at it!!!!!

But it is smaller than I expected. It appears to be of good quality. And my cats approve.

I have bought 2 brushes before this that either didn't work or my cat hated it. Omg does my Kitty Pawblo love this brush! He comes to it and let's me brush him for quite awhile. He is senior with thyroid, kidney and IBS issues so his body is sensitive. He has has extra dry skin and fur so his coat gets lots of undercoat fluffs. I don't want him licking up all that hair nor can he keep up with it. I try daily to get as much off so it's nice to have something he really likes. It's well made has perfect length and distance between bristles. I like the weight of it. It doesn't hurt him at all like those cheap bent ball brushes that snag instead of gently pull the tufts out. If you're having trouble getting your kitty to let you brush them or have a sensitive senior like me get this brush!

Very good quality my dog loves it. Combing his curly hair a lot easier now with this brush.

A superior brush for small or medium size pooches (or head of a big dog)! Boar bristles feel soft and do not pull fur, while also easily removing dirt or loose hair. These bristles have one acrylic strand per tuft, for strength, which is the best construction method. The solid wood handle is lightweight with a smooth finish and feels natural in the hand. It can be a relaxing and bonding time, and a great opportunity to turn off the TV or smartphone.I looked at several brushes on Amazon and this is excellent quality for a decent price, and will last a long time.

Look, I don’t even own a dog and I just so happened to be searching for a maxi pin brush and this popped up! I ordered it for myself and it didn’t disappoint! Almost as good as the other one I had from France, but yes this brush is just as good for human hair as it your furry friends! U have to like the feeling of it though because it’s not a soft brush. I love the way it stimulates my scalp and my hair has been in much better condition since using this! Ladies, and even men out there, do yourself a favor and buy this for yourself and one for your pup too:) for real this brush is amazing!!!!!Ps… I like don’t really leave reviews hardly ever so trust me it’s good!

The texture of this brush is lovely, and my cat loves the way it feels. Unfortunately the bristles fall out quite easily. I would exchange it for a replacement, but I missed the return window by 1 day. I will likely order another to give this product another try.

This brush works great and my dog loves it. It does not hurt him when I brush his long coat. The only downside is that I wish the brush was a larger. It would be easier to grip.

I really like this hairbrush for myself, it’s VERY well made. I jazzed it up with some resin for a sea-themed look. Strong pins, rounded tips (so no scraping or pain), solid wood handle.

My cats just love it.
