To use the 100X objective lens, plus the 25X eyepiece for 2,500X, you have to adjust the "Concentrator" slide control underneath the stage and also adjust the light setting for best results. Since it's a Trinocular microscope, I leave the digital camera in place and adjust it along with the "diopter adjustment" so that up is up and down is down on both my laptop image and what I also see in the eye pieces. Also, on the software program "S-EYE" I use the "flip and mirror" settings so that the image is not reversed left and right on the screen. This is a great microscope. I wish I would have had one when I was studying biology back in my college days. Hope it helps. Good luck.

I purchased one for my Koi pond. My teenage and pre-teen grandkids came over and fell in love with the microscope! They were plucking algae from the pond and reveling in the critters they saw in the water. I had to buy each of them this microscope for their birthdays. I'd much rather them be viewing life through a microscope than glued to a video game screen. The little caterpillar-like thing was crawling all over the slide, with its head bobbing on its journey through this new terrain (and, yes, we did put it back in the pond to the best of our ability)! Just think—it has no idea we exist, and we had no idea it existed until we watched it busily moving around the slide cover. The microscope allows an iPhone (or any phone) to serve as your eye. Definitely consider this as a holiday or birthday gift and open your child's world! And no, I was not paid to write this! I rarely write reviews, but this microscope is totally worth the money!

El aparto está bien, las instrucciones son pésimas y el software es viejísimo (parece de windows 3.11), pero cumple su función bien. aunque esperaba que tuviera más integración con software.

Very fun to use and see different things, good quality, very portable with the case it comes in, functions well. The instructions are NOT good so good luck with that part but good value

Beware, this microscope rarely magnify clearly beyond 500x magnification. It is fine up to 500x. Anything over 500x is a complete waste of time. Forget about 1000x or 2000x. At 1000x or 2000x the image is a completely blurry. Also, BEWARE, THE 100X OBJECTIVE IS NOT DESIGNED FOR IMMERSION OIL. It is like you don't have a 100x objective. Waste of time and money.

I can’t figure out how to get it to connect to the computer. So I can record the images. And it only goes to 100x so you can see as much as you think. The instructions are not user friendly

I just received it today and the moment I tried to explore the specimens provided , the routing knob stuck and wont move at all (it came like this I didnt broke it) , the second thing is that the supplies came with are very cheep products that are not even close to the image in the web , I'm highly disappointed by my own product experience especially its an expensive product , hope you fix this problem.
