I'm thoroughly impressed with this platform so far. If I have problems with it down the line, I'll put an update here. If it holds up, then it's wonderful.The size and weight are ideal, and the function is unbeatable too. Like the higher end platforms out there, you can lightly cinch it into position while folded, and then the action of unfolding it is what makes it bear down into the tree. This thing does not slip. The claw at the top, and the lever action really drives it into the bark and locks it in. I tried standing on the left and right edges of it and it didn't budge or squeak at all. It appears to be cast aluminum, so it should be strong and rust free. The size of the platform is exactly what I like - not too big, not too small.The price is comparable, if not a little less than some of the cheapest big-name platforms, and a lot less than most big-name ones. So far, this appears to be just as good as any of my favorite platforms, and much better than the budget ones I have. Recommended!

I've been saddle hunting for the past 15 years. Mostly using strap on steps. This platform is a major upgrade to my saddle hunting setup. The platform easily attaches to any tree. Just wrap the strap, pull it tight, seat the platform to stretch things, then lift the platform, retighten and then reseat the platform back down. Super tight and very sturdy. Even in crocs this is very comfortable to stand on.The platform does not have any noticeable flex when i move around on it. I'm ~190lbs. It's quiet and solid all around. Great platform!

I decided to give this platform a try for weight savings. I wear a size 11 boot and find the overall space very tight to the point moving requires focus to not slip off. I may get more used to it after further use but initial impression would be to be careful if you have large feet. I consider size 10 - 11 pretty average size shoe so 12 and up could really be limited on space. When I first got this I hung it low on a near by tree and found the top bracket was a little loose which was easily tightened. Once that was snugged up, I stepped onto the platform just to get the feel. I saw a little black piece go flying off which definitely made me glad I tried it out low first. The little lever on the cam snapped right off. The strap is still usable but I will be replacing it with something I can trust more. The adjustment screw for leveling the stand works nicely and helps ensure you are at a comfortable angle. The weight of the stand came in at 4.18 pounds so it is pretty close to the 3.9 pounds advertised.

got this tree saddle platform for my saddle system I use for hunting and man was I impressed with the overall quality and craftsmanship of its platform it anchors to the tree very securely also I used a ratchet strap because I do not intend to move this one or the other three have gotten with this one I wanted to have spares so I can bounce from tree to tree if I want or need to so if I know I'm going to one of these trees I can leave my main platform in the truck and just take my climbing sticks with me reducing the weight I have to pack in even more

This is a pretty heavy duty stand. I don't know what the weight rating on it is, but it's more than amply strong enough to hold up our 300 pound hunter. The straps seem adequate to the task as well, and this stand is made to self-brace, taking some of the tension off the straps. It IS heavier than you'd think, but I'll take the extra few ounces over a collapsing foot rest any day.

This product seems to be well made and I am looking forward to putting it out in the woods within the next month or so. Seems like it will be easy to set up and use. It is a little heavy for the size of the product, however, I won’t be carrying it for miles and miles, so this is perfectly acceptable. Would recommend.

A great 2nd platform if you’ve got some regular stand locations. Really simple to get set up and installed.As per most platforms, I like to have a ratchet strap for extra security (any hang ons really).May be a little smaller than others, but really up to your preference and dimensions as a human
