Q: Does the clock set itself according to the atomic clock or do I need to set it myself?

Mine did not set itself so I just set it to local time. Everything worked out

Q: Will this station work in Florida weather. Tropical storms. Hurricanes, or will it get destroyed?

Don't hold your breath about it working through a Cat 4 hurricane... might make it though 80 mph but more than that is iffy. Lost my last station during Irma here in Key West... believe me, the station breaking will be the last of your concerns.

Q: can I add additional indoor sensors? It seems to imply this but does not show where to purchase these

I contacted the seller/manufacturer directly and was informed that the indoor sensors are not yet on the market but are currently in development.
