BBD Whippet Deluxe Collar, Black,12-14 inch (Pack of 1)

Edit: I originally posted this as a four star review but have amended this to two. After a recent walk in the rain, our white dog was stained with red dye from this collar and lead! This was the first time the items had got wet, as our pooch is very much a fair weather walker. Unfortunately for her, she will now need a bath to remove her new paint job!Beautiful collar, has softened nicely over time. Stretched a little too but not massively so. Wearing well, our Whippet X seems comfortable in it.

I bought this collar back in June and I'm very happy with it. 7 months on and there is no sign of wear, the leather is intact and the colour has remained true.I like that the buckle is stitched rather than riveted and the padding gives a double thickness making it sturdier and more durable.I would definitely recommend it.

A nice soft leather collar in a great range of colours.I bought a second one as I was happy with the first, using the last hole for the tightest fit on my excitable lurcher. I used Velcro to secure the long end of the collar, which spoilt it rather.I checked the new collar was the same length before putting it on. A few days later I realised that it was a looser fit than the first & on checking found the holes are not punched in the same places. I will have to punch another in myself which is disappointing.

This is a great collar, well made, substantial and a lovely pink collar for my little black lurcher girl. Its stood up to being washed a few times as well, after my little darling coated in Fox poo.... Its a nice padded collar, I would buy another one. Its wearing well so far!

We have had this collar for our whippet puppy for a few months now and it still looks brand new!It is nice and soft on the inside with strong stitching and quality material on the outside. The buckle itself is sturdy and he hasn’t slipped out of it even though he is still quite small (he is coming up to 1 year!)It washed well in the machine, on a cool wash and didn’t lose any of its structure.I was a bit worried about ordering the right collar online because his comfort was so important but he seems to love it and I think it’s great value for money!

Bought one for my youngest Whippet and was so delighted with it, I got another for my 10 year old Whippet. They are very supple and padded on the inside for a comfy fit for my favourite dogs. Are standing up well to the rigours of being attached to the necks of bonkers crash-through-any-hedge-to-catch-a-rabbit animals. I don't, by the way, allow them to catch anything.

This is a very well made collar, really nice quality and does look great on my whippet, the inner is padded fine soft leather.Definately a bargain and highly recommended.

This was for a jack russell who had slipped discs in her neck and unable to wear a normal collar. Reading the description I was hoping for a wide collar and comfortable. Unfortunately this was a very strudy collar and totally unsuitable for my needs.

Collier qui a l'air de grande qualité (à voir sur la durée), avec doublure "blanche" de qualité également, mais surtout qui a l'air confortable. J'adore aussi les coutures et leurs couleur qui mettent en valeur le collier. 20x mieux qu'un autre collier acheté précédent. Pour l'instant, mon whippet femelle a 4mois, la taille du collier lui va correctement au plus serré.Je suis très content de mon achat, je le recommande.Cordialement, romain.

I love the tapering. looks just like the picture. Stiff as expected at first but softens nicely and quickly. My dog fussed with his other collars, this one seems to be more comfortable he doesn't scratch at it like the others.

Both my whippets are happy with these collars.My only complaint is the metal loop to attach the leash could be slightly larger for easier hook up. But that's minor.

Amazing collar! One problem it was strait and it wouldn't curl properly. That isn't the sellers fault, the shipping. Overall sturdy and nice. I've bought 3 collars from here for my Whippet and it's amazing!

Acheté pour mon whippet, ce collier me semble de bonne qualité. A voir dans le temps, mais satisfaite pour l'instant!(Un peu large pour le cou d'un whippet par contre à mon avis, mais reste très bien.)

C est un collier avec un tres bon raport qualité prix . Le cuir est de qualité ainsi que les coutures. La forme est tres bien adapté pour ma petite chipie...

Le cuir de ce collier est assez rigide. Le whippet devra le porter un certain temps afin de l'assouplir.Le collier en soi est chic.
