Raer Fender was "Folded in Half" Permanently kinking the Fender !Steel mounting Brackets were Way Too Long !

Rear fender was folded in half to fit in packaging which caused it to deform. I guess it still works but it looks pretty bad. Would almost be better if they had just cut it in half.

It took 21 days coming from China to get these fenders. These were half the price of the other 26" fenders I found on Amazon and I liked the wire loop attachments better than other brands so I decided to wait for these.The fender is made of medium thick plastic, thick enough to hold its shape but thin enough so they would be easy to cut and modify if I wanted to. My bicycle has mountain bike tires measuring 26-1.95 and the fenders fit fairly close to the tires but do not touch them. With my type of bicycle (recumbent) the chain would slightly rub against the fender when the bicycle is in first gear. I was able to fix this using a box cutter and trim away some excess.This fender package comes with plenty of bolts to do the job. One quick note though, be careful with the small black plastic pieces that bolt the wire bales onto the fender. Two bolts go through this plastic piece and screw into a small metal plate secured on the under side of the fender. Put them on just tight enough to be gently snug. Too much tightening and the bolt head will pull right through the plastic pieces.These showed up in perfect condition but the plastic will scratch easily. My main purpose for these was to keep gravel from getting flung up from the back wheel and landing in my hair and these fenders do the job well. If they get scratched up (and they will) I'm not going to worry about it.In case you're interested, here's some notes from the tracking of the package:June 25 Package delivered to customer.June 20 Flight containing package has arrived. DongguanJune 4 Carrier picked up the package.On the day it was delivered, amazon did not say that it was "out for delivery". Only after it was delivered did it say "package delivered to customer". For a while there (between June 7th and June 20th) I had my doubts that things were going well with the delivery.
