Essie - nail polish Allure

I love Essie as a brand and this is a fab colour. It usually lasts 4/5 days with no chips. It can stain the nails if you don’t use an undercoat, but a quick buff after removal it gets rid of the stain with no problem.

Fabulous colour for summer. Shame the brush was not the new shape and thickness. Old style thin brush reduced rating to 4 stars.

Nice summer colour good buy. Colour is as it appears in the bottle not the shade square next to it. It's sort of a lemon stroke pale green.

Apparently the Dutchess of Cambridge used this shade at her wedding last year. She used this shade alongside Boujous Rose Lounge (included in this set)  Bourjois So Laque Ultra Shine Nail Enamel Collection . I used these two colours recently as a guest at a family wedding. The result was simply lovely, whitish nails with a touch of pink. I used the Allure shade first, topped up with the Rose Lounge: the result looked stunning. Glossy, shiny, perfect nails. Even the tips of the nails looked slightly emphasised, ie, whitish without that tippex look. This is a great look for summer and for anyone who wants simple, clean dressed looking nails. I use this combination for work too for a simple polished look.

I really love the colour but it takes at least three coats to get it opaque. It's a lovely jellyish finish. I pretty much just have this bottle of nail polish as decoration because the colour makes me so happy. Simple things for simple minds.

Essie polishes are always great. What I would say is that if you are looking for a plain white - this one has a bit of sparkle.

nice colour but flaked/peeled within hours so wouldn't purchase again
