Excellent game!!

This is an utterly stunning solitare set. The solid wood looks gorgeous and goes so well with my dark wood coffee table. The marbles really stand out on the dark wood, even the darker-coloured ones and this makes for an expensive looking display piece. It also does work as a game you can play, but it looks so great you'll want to have it on display the whole time.It's clearly very well made, and in my opinion it's worth the price.

This is very nice quality. Very heavy. Beautiful beautiful marbles. Fun and easy to play. I would definitely recommend this.

Sometimes you receive an item and everything about it says top quality from the moment you unbox it, this is one such item.The lovely deep coloured wood, nice and weighty, lovely graining, just good quality.Then the stones, all present and correct and again so well made.These would sit so well on display in any household, a real conversation starter.Not only is this a great display item, it also doubles up as a solitaire game! As you remove a piece from the game board simply pop it in the gutter section that runs around the board.I cannot rate this large board set highly enough, you will not be disappointed

This is a really nice, quality solitaire board with a proper, well made wooden base and what appear to be actual marble marbles (as opposed to glass ones). It would make a great gift and a display piece.The base of it is smooth, without any feet, etc, but as it is smooth, I don't think it really needs any.It comes in a good quality box, with everything nicely secured and protected inside, with a small guide on how to set up and play.The only things that let it down are:(a) The front of the box has a spelling mistake - claiming it includes "Mable balls".(b) The wooden playing surface had some small scuffs on it. These weren't immediately obvious, so not a major thing, but they were visible when looking at the board from an angle.

This solitaire board is an excellent set for playing the game. It also looks amazing, and we have it on the sideboard. The board itself is made of a solid piece of wood and looks well finished and the marbles roll around the outside really smoothly like doing a victory lap each time you remove one, they also fit in the holes on the board perfectly, so it really does feel like a well-made set. The marbles themselves are well polished and feel nice in your hand.I have become slightly addicted to playing the game and my best so far is two left. I have been told by many people that you are meant to get one left and it be on the middle slot, which is going to be incredibly hard, but I will keep going.This product could be given as a really nice gift for someone who wants to have some enjoyment away from screens. Five stars and a big recommendation from me.

When I ordered this Deluxe Solitaire Game Set I couldn't see how it would possibly be worth £42 but on arrival I could see instantly!This game is the most beautiful game I have ever seen and it works not only as a game but makes a beautiful focal point on a coffee or side table. The board is made from a beautiful dark wood and contains 32 natural marbles which are all unique and appear very much like more solid coloured crystals.The aim of the game is to get rid of all the marbles leaving only one marble in the centre but you can only move the marbles to jump over one either to the left, right, up up or down. This is a lot harder than it seems and despite trying many times I still haven't succeeded but I have had lots of fun trying. The marbles fit nicely in the groove around the outside of the board when they are off the board which is handy and stops them rolling around all over the place.What I did find disappointing about this game was the box. The box is very thin and whilst there is a foam protector on top of the in place marbles on arrival I did feel like they were going to fall out of the box before I managed to get in. For the price I'd have expected it to come in a box presenting the game in a more premium way or at least come with a bag for the game or just the marbles to be stored in when not being played. Also, if the maker of this product is reading this there is a spelling mistake on the box which makes it seem more cheaply made than it is as the attention to detail there is lacking. This would put me off picking it up if I saw it in a shop, especially at the price it is sold for. It's in the word 'marble'.I am so happy with this game. The box isn't great but the contents are beautiful. It looks amazing and is a fun one player challenge for me or any visitors to attempt. You never know, one day I might even manage to successfully compete it!
