This hat does exactly what I need it to do, and I love it! It's comfortable to wear; the adjustable size means it fits my slightly small head just right; it's waterproof; it has an 'under chin' toggle that keeps it secure if it's windy; it has a wide flexible brim, which protects my eyes from the sun (optician's instructions) and my glasses from the rain. Would definitely recommend!

My mum is very happy with her hat and it looks great on and great value. My only complaint is that there was no instructions on how to put the strap alteration together. That’s why I only gave it 4 stars.

If I expected to unwrap the hat and have it looking like the illustration, I was sorely disappointed. It came tightly wrapped in a plastic bag and was dreadfully crumpled. It has a no-iron symbol in it, so I'm stuck with something that looks ridiculous and scruffy and I wish I'd returned it when I had the chance. Unfortunately I can't comment on how waterproof it is as I haven't been out in the rain in it - I'd bought it in advance for a trip later in the month. I have to say that it doesn't fit me very well, falling over my eyes but no doubt the drawstring will help with that. I do like the fact that it has a cord which will keep it on in windy weather - this, in fact, was the selling point for me. Now rather wishing I'd done a bit more research.
