Game-changer!
Im writing this review because i want to thank the sellers and creators of this item - even the post man! I have chronic endometrial and back pain that flared up to hell this week, and this pad has been so helpful and comforting! I love that the instructions are literally printed on the pack - such a good idea especially for people who struggle with difficulties with their memory. I have a large sticky out stomach (size 18 clothes but a significant pot belly, about the size of a pregnant woman at full-term) and was worried about the band not fitting, but it's incredibly stretchy and fits perfectly. Im so pleased with it for the comfort it brings, but i have some feedback that i hope will be helpful for the future adaptations of this product (I'll be keeping an eye on this as I'll be using this product for the rest of my life im sure). Please note these are mainly specific for the heat function because that's what I use it for. 1) the gel is lovely as it moulds around the area nicely when heated, it does cool down quicker than im used to with rice heat bags/ hot water bottles. It's OK for me because i work from home so am only a stones throw from my microwave. I imagine this gel is probably used because of it's versatility to attain both heat and cold therapy - but I'd certainly buy one that's designed specifically for heat with a different gel/method that's longer lasting (and several as gifts to all my girlfriends). This would be beneficial to people who are on their feet all the time without quick and regular access to microwaves/ stove tops (thinking about retail workers and nurses with chronic back pain). 2) it would be a really nice touch if there were specific patterned cloths that you could velcro around it. As the pad does not stick out much you could get away with wearing it under a baggy top (obviously would have to be careful not to burn self so would wear an additional top underneath) so not only would a specific cover protect your skin more, you could get colours that match your top if you're wearing a slightly translucent blouse to work or something. Or just pretty patterns to look at, I'd be a sucker for those, especially if they matched my pyjamas. Could also have extra thick fluffy soft covers that you could use straight to skin safely and they would be extra comforting because of the softness. A cover with an insulative layer on the side thats not on the skin might help it to retain heat too! 3) even though the band fit me really nicely, i do know people who would be too large for this, a simple fix for that could be extenders! Considering that back and joint pain is especially common in this population, this would be very helpful for them. I would personally love to see these and hopefully will in the future, but overall I am not only happy but also grateful for this product. Also loved the note from the seller, it was a lovely touch.

Hands free.
Brilliant produce. Stays warm long time. Strap is great as leaves hands free so you can be mobile.

Genuine pain relief
Because this fits nicely and is secure when fitted the ice pack brings genuine pain relief. I use it for my thighs but this easily fits my back and the holding straps do their job well.

Using the icepack
Stretchy wide velcro strap useful. The weight of the ice can make it move if you walk around but I’ve stayed still - you do have both hands free. Ice pack flexible and easy to use. Does the job well.

Great for long motorcycle journeys in winter
Very easy and useful product to have around the house. Aside from its intended use for muscle injuries and back ache, keeping warm on the long road to work in 5-10'C throughout winter is the name of my game. A quick 1.00-1.30 in the microwave on max sets it up, then just velcro on and off you go. the materials and velcro itself seem very good quality. Some other brands I wouldn't trust staying on with half a roll of duct tape. Also found use for it with the 30'C+ scorching weather this Summer, although the concentrated cooling was slightly uncomfortable for longer than 20 min at a time through a base layer fleece. The same could be said for any icepack however.

Doesn't stay warm for long and too big for microwave.
I bought this product to give some heat therapy to my aching muscles, partly due to Fibro pain. The quality is pretty good and also versatility to use on different areas of the body. However, it is too big to lay flat in my microwave properly, so heat is not distributed well. Most disappointing aspect is that it doesn't actually stay warm for long, so would mean having to keep re-inputting into microwave every 5 - 7 mins. It's probably more useful for the cold therapy, rather than warmth.
