I put this next to my friend's eco bottle, which is 10x the price, and it seemed that this one was more effective just by watching the catalyst process.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like using this glass bottle and love that you can recharge it. My grandsons love it too.

I just received this and I’m using it for the first time. I cleaned each piece before use according to the instructions. I used RO water straight from the faucet, and the first time I ran the unit, the water had a very strong plastic/chemical odor. So I poured out that water and repeated the process 7-more times. The odor seemed to have disappeared, however, upon tasting it, the plastic/chemical taste was still there. I searched online to see if hydrogen water had a flavor and no, it should have no discernible taste. So I am attempting to clean the base again according to the owner’s manual. I’m hoping this removes the plastic/chemical flavor, but right now I’m very disappointed.

For those who drink alkaline water this hydrogen water bottle is great. What makes it great is you can create alkaline water with this bottle with regular water (not distilled water). The glass bottle has a rechargeable battery and causes in about 2 -3 minutes hydrogen gas to be released from the water. By releasing the hydrogen the pH of the water is lowered so it is alkaline.The bottle comes with a charging cable. When plugged in you cannot use alkaline water. A red light is on and when the light turns green it is fully charged.To use the bottle you fill the bottle with water up to 80%. Next you press the button on bottom with bottle upright and cap on. A light turns on and you wait about 2-3 minutes at which the light turns off. At this point you open the bottle and just enjoy your water. Please note this process is not a sanitation of the water it just causes hydrogen gas to be generated to be released.Please note this is a glass bottle with metal base and cap so is susceptible to breaking so handle accordingly. There is NO cushioned storage bag.

I've been wanted to try one of these for awhile, but I didn't want to spend what many of these go for. Many other options are 4x or more this one's price. All these are is an electrode that splits water into hydrogen gas and oh-. oh- is basic, so this potentially makes the water slightly basic. As for the hydrogen, most of that bubbles out unless you drink this immediately. The science still appears to be out on that. This has metal and plastic caps, the body is thick glass, and it charges via USBC. This is pretty when on, so at the least there is that.
