The shapes are a hit with 5 y.o. There are plenty shapes for two children to build as much as they want. The shapes come without any reference to templates but it is OK. We printed a lot of free templates from the net. The children build their own figures based on imagination and also learn to build using the templates. Also, I noted they practice counting when using templates as they need to know how many specific shapes they need to build. It is an excellent start to learn geometry! They learned "trapezoid" when doing "giraffe " and "house" . How cool is that! One little suggestion is to have a printout inside the package with reference to online shape templates.
