Verbatim CD/DVD Clear TRIMpak Cases - 200pk (bulk) - 93975

These are good economical covers for CD's. I use this product a lot for storing and shipping individual CD or DVD disks. My only reason for giving the holders only four stars is the fact that occasionally a cover does not stay clicked close and some dust protection is lost. I've never had any problem with covers being received in any sort of damaged condition.

I have mixed feelings about these cases because they are not exactly the design that I was looking for. The design I was looking for the top closes over the bottom of the case. These cases have the top pull out from inside the case. Once the CD/DVD is placed inside the case, the cover does not always close so that you do not have to worry about it opening. For whatever reason the Verbatim name is not on the cases.

Nice package. Translucent allowing for enclosed disk identification. Protection for mailing disk in envelop. Firm latch stays closed but is easily opened. Good protection against damage when dropped. Not interlocking, so don't stack too many in a pile.

I've been using these cases for the past several years. In the very beginning, I got one case where several of the cases wouldn't close properly. I notified the manufacturer and since then there have been no problems.This is an excellent product for mailing single CDs. The cases are lightweight and sturdy enough to survive the postal service. They do need to be mailed in envelopes, but I would probably do that anyway.

These are lightweight, flexible, and durable. We mail CDs on request and find these survive much better than the typical hard plastic kind we've used.

This is the best container I've found for individual disks. It's very hard to crush or bend (unlike jewel cases) -- sit on them with impunity. They are easy to snap open/close, and last many many years.They work great as mailers -- postage stamps and address labels stick very well, and they are thin enough to count as a letter.

Verbatim 93975 TRIMpak CD and DVD Clear Storage Cases, 200-Pack Having gone through a couple dozen of them, I've found that these cases are clumsy and a little difficult to open, requiring two hands to do it. It's somewhat easier to close but does not give a clear signal or definite "feel" when it is secured shut like a typical jewel case does. When closed the sides split open allowing dust and/or moisture easy access to the disk inside. I would prefer that these cases be made a little stiffer and of better quality in the snap it employs to lock the case shut.The plastic that it's molded of seems a lot sturdier than a typical fragile jewel case though.For the price paid, I consider these cases a deal that's good enough that I won't return them, but not good enough to purchase them again.

Buying these on Amazon saved me 50% over ordering them from the big-box office supply store. They're not adequate for long-term storage of a precious collection, but they provide just enough extra protection when mailing discs - at about half the weight of a full-sized plastic DVD case. This equates to a saving in postage.

I use these all the time for when I have to send a CD/DVD out from my work. They fit better in the bubble envelopes than the square cases do.
