My favorite pen of all time
Best disposable pens I have ever used for the money. They are comfortable to hold, right smooth until the end, and the ink tube is extra thick and lasts twice as long as others. I specifically like the brighter shade of blue that it writes in, and I like that it has been the exact same, consistent and reliable, since I started using them 18+ years ago (in 2007) I would give this 6 stars if possible.

Buttery Smooth
These pens glide on paper, so satisfying. Easy to use, does not smear, good value for the money, and comfortable to grip. What's not to like?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE PENS!
I like a good pen. When I found these I was in heaven! They write very well from the time you first start using the pen until it is out of ink. No skips, no having to mark on a piece of paper to get the ink flowing...... it is 100% dependable. The other thing I like is that you can unscrew the barrel of the pen and know how much ink you have left. I still write a few checks instead of using a credit card. The ink in the pen helps to prevent fraud. I especially like the price point for a high quality writing pen!

Makes my handwriting ALMOST look legible
These gel pens are the real deal for anyone who loves smooth writing. Here's the lowdown: They write like a dream: Smooth ink flow, no skipping or scratchiness, just pure pen-on-paper satisfaction. Fine point, but not too fine: The 0.7mm tip is perfect for everyday writing, giving you clear lines without feeling too thick. Big pack, bold value: You get a dozen pens in a pack, so you can stock up and avoid mid-task pen emergencies. Classic blue ink: Never go wrong with a reliable blue. It shows up well on most paper and is perfect for everyday tasks. Overall, these Uniball Signo pens are a solid choice for anyone who wants a smooth and reliable writing experience. They're not fancy, but they get the job done well, and at a good price.

Most reliable pens
I am sending 2 dozen of these to a relative as a gift, because they are my favorites. I keep a couple of boxes of them at home and reorder as needed. They are very reliable, do not skip, and write from the time you start until they are completely out of ink. One downside: they are not the best for writing in slick-paper magazines, as in doing the crossword in The Week. There they have a tendency to smear, and a regular ballpoint is better.

Great pen
Favorite pens! Easy to use, doesn’t bleed, medium point is the way to go, I ordered the micro and was very disappointed.

I Don't Write with Anything Else
I love these pens. Always have for as long as I've used them (which is a long time). They're smooth and the ink dries reasonably fast. I can get effects because they roll and the ink flows well (IE I can practically write in boldface if I'm deliberate enough). I'm one of those people that writes everything that matters down on a sheet of paper... These pens are perfect for that. It helps me learn and commit things to memory. So it means I'm writing A LOT and that means my hands cramp if I'm not using a good pen. These pens have a nice relatively soft grip surface (so I don't squeeze as hard), I can write fast without them "dragging" on the paper, and I can write different lines and figures based on how hard I press and how fast I write - creating different widths and intensities - which works well if I need to chart/graph/sketch into my notes. I did mark these down from a value standpoint... Comparatively, they aren't cheap. They're one of my biggest vices, but I enjoy them enough I just deal with the cost. There are other options out there that are less expensive and can perform as well or similar, but they don't have the same look and feel. So I spend a little more money and enjoy using these pens a little more. Is it worth the money? Probably not, probably only for me and the person(s) that introduced me to them, they're the only way to go for me.

I bought a box of the uni-ball 207 Rollerball Gel, Gel Retractable Roller Ball Pen Medium-0.7mm, 12 Pack with black ink and another box with blue ink. The pen fits snugly into my hand. Because I normally use a fountain pen, the uni-ball feels a lot lighter in my hand than I would really like. However, it writes easily and expressively, with a nice flowing line - not too thick and not too fine. It takes to the paper's surface very well, and its nib glides smoothly without any annoying scratching or roughness. In fact, it has the feel and appearance of a good-quality fountain pen ink on the surface of paper, except that, unlike most fountain pen inks, it doesn't fade. It writes almost as expressively as a fountain pen - not quite, but almost. It uses some sort of hybrid between gel and ink so that it has the feel of a good-quality ink. My only concern is whether the pen's gel will actually last a decent time. By a "decent time," I mean I would hope to get a good 3 month's usage out of the pen even with extensive daily use. I'm not sure at this stage if the gel will last that long as I can already see through the clear plastic chamber that the gel's level has diminished after two week's constant usage. But I'll write an update on how long the pen actually lasts once I've finished with one pen.

These are great pens: comfortable to hold with a soft rubber grip, good writing feel, retractable (no cap to lose), durable ink that dries fast. As a lefty I often find gel pens end up getting smudged but this ink dries super fast and doesn't get smeared. Pocket clip for that nerd aesthetic and they last a long time (I have some 3-4 years old). Just don't forget to take the tiny seal off the tip before using. Minor quibble: the box they come in is a bit flimsy - mine got smushed in transit but I don't think they'd even last that long in a stationary cabinet.

The famous Uni-ball Signo 207 is a quality pen that sets the bar for all accessible pens. People often buy this pen specifically for the ink, but the body is high quality too. Overall, it sets a high standard for what a nice pen should be.
