Great little practice amp.
Plugs straight into my electro-acoustic and cigar box guitars. Sounds good on the clean setting with the built-in reverb switched on. Also great for my cigar box guitar with the overdrive or distortion switched on. I bought this after Amazon offered it in a 'snatch deal', but would have paid the full price for it considering that a Behringer distortion or overdrive pedal (without amplification) would have cost the same. This amp is primarily designed for practice and is chargeable with the included USB lead. I certainly would not gig or play live with it. It just does not have the volume. Bluetooth is included for pairing with phones, tablets etc so jamming along with backing tracks is possible. I would have given this amp 5 stars but sadly there does not seem to be any way to switch the Bluetooth off. The amp goes into pairing mode when switched on which means that if you don't have it paired to your phone then anyone's Bluetooth device can pair with it. Having said that, it's well worth the money and I'm happy with my purchase.

It works!
It's a great little device, I use it to amplify my hollow bodied guitar, just to get the sound effects that I am looking for, but when playing in public if there's too much background noise then it's not quite enough. It does produce very good tone qualities but for my purposes maybe 8 or 10 amps output would have been better, but a very good and useful bit of kit none the less . It's very easy to use, great for practice and good value. The physical size means that it is not noticed by the audience, it gives the appearance that you are playing acoustic but producing an electric sound, nor does it get in the way when playing but it's not going to create the heavy metal sound and as I've said it's a bit under powered for a lot of background noise.

Extremely portable and easy to use.
It's a good little practice amp at low volume. It's only got a tiny speaker, so don't expect a lot of volume, the sound breaks up at high volume, of course, but you'd expect that. But it's very portable, and you can play wherever without worrying about lugging your gear around. You would use it in the same situations as a headphone amp, but without the headphones. It's not magically wonderful sounding, but it's really convenient and has a nice little clean sound to just sit around and play a bit. I wanted something with a speaker, I already have a headphone amp, and this is the most portable amp out there with a speaker.

Near perfect for Lap Steel
Plugging this into my lap steel makes practice easy. No leads, no amp to plug in and carry. The little joyo lives in the guitar case. I can play with friends who are acoustic guitarists and not overwhelm their sound. It's not perfect; the clean channel is very quiet, the distortion louder and the overdrive very loud. The effects are basic and the promised reverb I cannot hear at all. But battery life is long and the sound is acceptable. If they upgrade it I would certainly buy another. At this price I won't complain. All in all I'm delighted with it!

I just got it an hour ago, and right out of the box I plugged it into my Ibanez 6 string. and it works beautifully. The sound is wonderful (For what it is) If you compare this to a more expensive amp you are cheating yourself out of a good product, because you will think it is not as good. For $30 this is a great travel/practice amp. You can get great clean/overdrive/crunchy tone out of it. It connects with my phone and I was able to play some backing tracks on Spotify from my phone to jam to. I personally love it! Will it replace my main amp? NO! But it is not supposed to, this can be bought for pennies and works straight out of the box with no setup. This is great for your 8 year old's first practice amp. Even at full volume, while the sound was clear and nice to me, my wife was able to watch television in the next room, without problem. You can use it while charging, so during long jam/practice sessions, when the battery eventually dies. You can just plug it in and continue playing. I have not had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but every other aspect of it I love so far, and I give it that 5 star rating honestly. My two criticisms are small ones. First of all, it rolls around in the output port of the guitar, as you move or shift its weight, it does not stay still. I worry about breaking it on something as it sticks out from the guitar very far. But even still it is only $30 to replace it if it does. It would be nice to have a mounting bracket (Sell it separately to not increase the price of the unit) But a simple 3d printed bracket to clip it to the body of the guitar better would be something I would buy. The additional 6.5mm adapter that came with it makes no sense, and I am not sure what it is for, and it is not mentioned in the owners manual at all. I thought it would attach to give some more space between the unit and the guitar if you wanted that. But it does not. The unit also comes with Bluetooth functionality, very cool as I said you can plug it into the guitar, connect it to your phone, and then play music or a backing track from your phone to play guitar along to. Or if you just want a small portable speaker to play music from your phone with, it will do that. The owners manual, shows you just propping the amp up on the connection adapter, like a kick-stand. However Guitar people will not want to do that as it can damage that adapter and cause an unwanted buzz or other unwanted sounds. So you could 3d print a small plastic cover to clip onto it, so when you use it as a kick-stand the metal of the adapter is protected from scratches. Do those things and I would give it 10 stars. I would buy three or four more of them to keep in various places like my gig bag, or my friends house where I jam and practice a lot. This is a good product, that is worth the 5 stars and the $30 already. Those two additions would make it way better.
