Effective and quiet!
Made a huge difference to an ageing Surface i7 Pro 4, no thermal throttling and very little internal fan noise. the cooler fans are quiet too!

Received item. Plugged it in and turned it on. It does not cool to the temps advertised. Attached to my tablet and found it cools to +10 at best. I have a tablet cooler from another manufacturer that cools all the way down to -2. Disappointed.

I'm an avid tablet user, and during long sessions of gaming or streaming video, I've always struggled with my device getting uncomfortably warm, leading to a noticeable drop in performance. The iPad Cooler was marketed for Apple products, but with my Android tablet getting hot during extended use, I took a chance on it after seeing it came with magnetic suction sheets. My first impression was of its striking "Green Mech" aesthetic, which looks futuristic and cool. The device itself feels solid and well-built, with a small digital display on top that shows the temperature. The setup for my Android tablet required using one of the magnetic suction sheets, which was easy to apply. Once attached, the cooler snapped onto the back of my tablet with a firm, secure hold. The cooling effect was almost instant. The "Fast Liquid Cooling Semiconductor Heatsink" is no joke; within seconds of turning it on, I could feel the back of my device becoming icy cold. The temperature display was a fascinating feature, as I could watch the temperature drop in real-time, giving me a tangible sense of its effectiveness. I used it during a long gaming session, and my tablet's performance remained consistently high. There was no more throttling or lag due to overheating. The cooling fan operates with a very low noise level, which is a huge plus. It’s quiet enough that it doesn’t interfere with the game’s audio or become a distraction. Its compact size means it doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight, making it still comfortable to hold. My only real point of friction was the need to use the magnetic suction sheet. While it works perfectly and provides a secure attachment, it's an extra step and isn't as seamless as a native magnetic connection. I found that I had to be careful with its placement, and it does alter the look and feel of the back of my tablet slightly. However, for a user of an Android device, this is the necessary trade-off for a product primarily designed for an iPad. The cooler’s performance in keeping my tablet running smoothly and comfortably makes this small inconvenience more than worth it.

First Impressions of ACEDAYS iPad Cooler,Magnetic Tablet Cooler for ipad/Surface pro/Samsung Tab,iPad Cooing Fan with Temperature Display for Mobile Gaming,Tiktok Live Streaming (Green Mech+3 pcs Magnetic Suction Sheet) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-stars ✅ Active Cooling Solution ✅ Extra Large Tablet Design ✅ 2 Speeds ✅ Light Show ✅ Includes adhesive steel plates ✅ Temperature indicator ✅ Competitive pricing with other Tablet coolers ❌ Little difference between the two speeds ❌ Magnet could be stronger This active cooling device is more than just a fan. It works on the Peltier effect (thermoelectric cooling) and uses electricity to draw heat away from one side of the contact plate to the other side – then a large fan to cool the warm side. This unit includes 3 adhesive steel plates in case there are no magnets in the tablet to stick to. At LOW power, the unit draws 14 watts. On HI, the power draw is 17 watts. My thought is why have 2 speeds? The amount of cooling depends on the surrounding air and how hot the surface to be cooled is. The greater the difference, the more effective this cooler will be. For example, if cooling in air conditioned air or winter air, the cooler will work better than summer desert heated air. Does it get cold? Yes it can!! My infrared thermometer was having trouble taking a reading, but my estimate was the temperature was about 20-30 degrees below ambient temperature. If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

The product comes with 3 magnetic mounting plates that stick to the back of your device with 3M tape. It is very sticky, the tape is very difficult to remove. The Peltier cooler can pull up to 20 watts according to the manufacturer but I was only able to pull 10 watts of power from usb and output varies when plugged into devices (I was only able to get it to pull 5 watts when plugged into my Macbook Air). I wouldn’t recommend powering it via the device you are using it on as it is going to significantly reduce how long you can play games on the device and recommend powering it via a power bank. As for the performance, it depends on the device you are using and more importantly how much power you can get it to pull. My iPad mini will get hot in one specific spot during an extended gaming session and 10 watts of this does pull enough heat from the chassis to prevent it from happening. iPad mini’s do not really overheat and throttle too much but if you have a device that actually throttles a lot then this could give you a little more performance and keep your device from feeling hot in the hand. But it isn’t going to be a panacea and don’t expect amazing results, results are going to vary based on where/how you mount it for the same reason there are better/worse thermal pastes for CPUs. The better thermal connection you can get to the source of heat the better it is going to work and there is some room for DIY improvement if you want here. Otherwise the magnetic connection has an ok thermal connection and the surrounding metal back of my iPad mini gets a little cold if I leave it cooling idle. I'm giving this 4 stars only because it cannot pull the advertised 20 watts from a 60 watt power delivery port. If I could get it to pull 20 watts then the device would have performed significantly better.
