I was very pleased with this surfboard stand rack and entire purchasing process. Get ready to hear the word great over and over again! 1. Great Packaging: I was impressed with the the heavy duty gray Styrofoam packaging which protected all the pieces from moving around during shipping. 2. Great Quality: The quality of wood is excellent and exceeded my expectations. The wood is substantive and the natural color looks exactly as pictured. 3. Great Instructions: It gets even better because assembly was like ten minutes. The instructions were clear with minimal hardware including 3 screws, a tightener, an Allen wrench and a cute little mini screw driver.) Excellent instructions made assembly easy. 4. Great Design: The actual design is simple and smart giving the surfboard presentation a more polished and intentional look. Really, I thought leaning it against the wall was fine but this rack elevates the whole space because with the rack the surfboard is presented like art. (Goofy but lovable husband said--I didn't know they made those--that looks nice! 5. Great Fit: When it came to adjusting the rack to hold the surfboard I did have to try some different options for the tightest fit but even that took like 30 seconds. I love the feeling of money well spent! A GREAT value!

Good product, works as advertised. The one thing I would mention is the bars when evenly spaced out still put surfboards a little close to each other. I put a longboard above another longboard and although I have bags over both I have to pay attention to the fins on each to make sure they don’t hit the one below. The other thing is even with the rubber on the arms, I went to the store and got pool noodles to cover the arms to protect my boards as I felt the rubber wasn’t very thick. Still a great rack, nice and solid in the wall. Definitely takes a little handy work as you have to space, drill, and measure a good amount so if you’re not handy, might want tot get a friend. Definitely easier to do with two people. Also, you’ll recommend using a screw driver after you tap the holes as it would be easy to crush the metal with a drill and some pressure. Also pay attention to what piece you’re putting on the wall as there’s 6( I think it’s been a few months since I put this up) separate pieces of track that you have to drill and you need to make sure the ends of them that have an open slot line up with the next piece that has an open slot.

Main piece arrived broken. It would not be a big deal, but the dowels used in manufacturing are broken off in the holes and glued, so it can't be put back together without drilling out. The manufacturer should consider shipping less assembled. If they drilled six more holes and included 6 screws it could be assembled upon receipt and be less fragile. Speaking on fragility, the Amazon box was packed well, but the manufacturer box inside had only a tiny bit of bubble wrap and no other packaging for protection inside.

It's a great looking stand and made of quality materials. IT IS VERY sturdy and is great the way it adjusts around the surfboard and holds it tight in the stand. Would have gave 5 stars but I had to re-glue two small square wood blocks between the up rights that were loose and come unglued at some point before I opened it.

This was such a great price and soooo easy to put together! It had 3 different options for wood. The top middle block between the two legs came off in delivery but I used wood glue for it and clamped it over night. It was fine to screw in the arms the next morning. It’s stable. It makes my surf board look like an art piece. I still need to strip the wax for the photo. But I might buy another for my other board!
