We're delighted!
This book was quite impressive and I know my grands (grandsons and grand daughter) will thoroughly enjoy it. Thank you again.

Disappointed. Very basic. No maps!
My son is studying Ancient Egypt in school (3rd grade--he is 8), so I bought this since the Amazon site said it was for 8-12 year olds. It is about on the reading level of an 8 year old and very basic (definitely wouldn't gear it above 10 yrs old). What most annoyed me was that there were NO REFERENCE MAPS at all in the book. What is the point of writing a book about 3 ancient civilizations (Egypt, Mesopotamia, and the Indus Valley) when there is no visual point of reference where in the world these places are???? Come on Baby Professor--you can do better! Of course I could bring up a map on my phone to show my kid, but really? Shouldn't that be a general reference item provided in the book--a map!?! I am returning this book based on the fact that there wasn't that much useful information and there were no maps!

Ancient knowkedge that has really good structure for learning.
Excellent book. It's definitely for under 12; however informative and easy read and review.

Unproven History
This has some good educational value, but it also teaches unfactual theories such as evolution. History and science seem to love to squeeze “proven” evidence into books. These theories are not fact. There is actual more data to support these theories as being wrong than there are of them being correct. History books shouldn’t add things that are unproven and act as if they are fact.
