The denim is comfortable, and not tough or harsh on the skin. It's a jeans wear that should not get in the way as I intend to do some painting in it. It looks good enough that my daughter commented that she hopes I don't plan to wear it all the time. I ordered a size that I figured would be a loose fit, and boy! is it loose fitting. I like it though. I only wish the pants was a little tapered at the bottom and not feel like a flare bottom pants from the 1970s.

Really wanted to like these overalls. Husband needed some overalls for working around the house, ordered his usual size and they were very long. Not a big deal, he can roll them up. However, the bib portion was also oversized and sits too high. Description states they're a relaxed fit, not really - it's more like just really long overalls with a straight leg fit. The seat and thigh areas were a tad snug while the leg bottoms are too wide, more like a flare cut. "Relaxed fit" pants are wider in the seat and thigh area, not cut longer everywhere. So, if you're looking for a true relaxed fit in the hip/thigh area, these aren't it. It's too bad because these are very nice overalls - good color, quality material and hardware, and ample pockets. Consider sizing down when purchasing if you don't need a relaxed fit.
