Single ingredient - better than rawhide!
My dogs are both around 90 lbs and strong chewers. These last them for about 10 minutes, give or take depending on how determined they are that day. But it is just enough to satisfy them in the evening and chewing helps them relax. I get the smaller size, but they get these a few times a week.Beef collagen is a little better for them than something like raw hide. There is not a huge difference, but because the it is easier for dogs to digest as well as has a little health benefits. My one dog does have a slightly sensitive stomach (no yak chews for him) and will turn up his nose if things are not something he really wants. He has had no issue with these, and when he sees me get them out he comes running. These are recently the treats that I give my dogs the most often as they are easy to store, little to no odor, and don't leave any mess or staining on the floors. And both dogs love them, even the one that is a little picky. This is a good price, although the bigger bag is notably the best deal which is normal.

Health Benefits are Terrific (But You May Have to Be Creative to Entice Your Dog)
The Cowdog collegen sticks come in a small package that is priced (per stick) similar to other bully sticks on the market. My observations:- These are produced in Bolivia so you need to be okay with the fact that they are not USA-made- The size is good for most breeds (not too big and not too small)- The 100% natural grass-fed beef with no chemicals makes these a very healthy choice- Collegen is a high protein layer underneath rawhide which is far better for chewing and digestion- 75% min crude protein and only 2% max crude fat is excellent - better than many other brands- Expiration date is 20 months out - plenty of time for safe consumptionFor your consideration:Cowdog touts 'odor-free' but that hinders the appeal for dogs. Everything is about smell for our four-legged friends. Smell comes first, then taste. Thus, initially, I could not get my dog to try the stick.Being resolute on solving the problem, I inserted the end of the stick in beef broth to soak for a few minutes. Once I did that, he happily snatched the stick from my hand and settled in for a LONG chew session. For the 2nd stick, I rubbed the end on a ham bone. Once again, he was eager to partake in chewing the stick. For the health benefits, long chewing, and high protein, these collegen sticks are high quality and a great value. If the lack of odor is a challenge, you may have to be creative to make the sticks alluring.

Long Lasting
These are long lasting and very durable. My pup and old dog both enjoy chewing on it. They drop it and take a break, so I’m not sure if it’s that tasty, but they always go back and chew on it later. It’s a good size although skinny, the looks are deceiving because it lasts hours and maybe even a couple days. It’s hard but but not so hard on my old man’s teeth! Works great!

Dogs need to chew
Dog need to chew and you don't want them chewing on your shoes or furniture. Give 'em one of these. And keep their teeth clean too.My dogs get 1-2 bully stick every day or so. So, I normally get larger bags. But I thought I'd give these a try. There the standard size bully stick. All bully stick have a light smell, I only notice it when my dogs are actively chewing. The length of time these last depend how aggressive a chewer your dog is and the size of your dog. I have a med and large dog neither are aggressive chewer. The medium dog can get thur one of these a day but tend not to finish one. The large dog would like abut 1 1/2 but is dominant and will get thur a lot more if she can take them away form my med dog. These are made in Brazil which makes sense as Brazil is one of the top beef and beef product exports. But if your looking for made in America these aren't them.

Great alternative to smelly bully sticks
These 7 inch collagen sticks are just the right size for our Cocker Spaniel and Mini Dachshund. They can handle them easily but the sticks still provide hours of chewing pleasure. We like that they are made from fully digestible natural ingredients. The best part is that they have no disagreeable odor like normal bully sticks. $9.90 for 5 sticks may sound like a lot but regular bully sticks are also expensive. We and our pups like these sticks so much that they will become a regular fixture in our treat box.

great purchase, more affordable than retail stores
My dog loves these collagen braids and I am very impressed with the quality of this product. I wasn't expecting much since the price point is much less than local retail stores, and I thought that my dog would tear through them much faster than the more expensive sticks. To my surprise, it seems to last just as long, and my dog stays occupied as long as I let him have it. Also, it hasn't caused any GI upset and we haven't noted any changes or problems when he does his business.

good chew stick for power chewer
The Cowdog Chews Bully Collagen Sticks are a good choice for power chewers like my 45-pound golden retriever mix. She waited with great anticipation while I was measuring the size of the chew sticks, which did range from 5" to 7". I opted to give her the shortest one, which after a moment's hesitation, she took outside to chew on. She finished up about 11 minutes later, which is a good length of time for her. I couldn't detect any sort of odor, although my dog likely can. The bag is not resealable, so I transferred the remaining Cowdog Chews Bully Collagen Sticks to a zip-lock bag.

Worse stick I've ever bought
I don't recommend anyone buying these expensive "collagen" sticks, if that is really what they are. They aren't like others. They end up looking like a chewed rawhide bone that doesn't ever break down. It is a gummy 10" mess that got stuck in one of my dog's throat! The other one was swallowed before I could get it from him. Now I have to watch that it passes safely. And they can't be returned! I have returned other collagen sticks from other sellers but for some reason Amazon won't give me a refund and take these back. If you buy these PLEASE be careful and make sure you understand you won't get anything back if they are as bad for you as they are for me. Obviously, I will never buy another product of any kind from Brazilian Pet. Total rip off.
