Works great!
I was prepared to be disappointed with this purchase. The price was so great, I decided to take a chance. Have been using it for a few weeks now and it hasn’t let me down yet.Easy to set up and syncing is seamless every time I get in the car. Thanks!

Works ok
Seems to be working well so far. I have had the unit reboot on me a couple of times in the middle of a trip but it came back up without issue. Could have very well been my phone though to as my phone (Samsung Galaxy Flip 3) seems to get hot quickly when in Android Auto mode.

Everything works besides Wireless mirror link
The instructions say to use the qr code, but the iphone does not recognize the file and app is not on the app store to utilize mirror link. So this function is a bit broken, everything functions.

A really nice solution, but with some weird quirks
First off, I ordered this because it looked intriguing, and I've been wanting a display for my tractor cab for a while so I can control stuff on my phone and hopefully find a way to pass through a camera to better see my implements without having my head twisted around while moving forward. When this item arrived, first thing I did was unbox it and plug it into a USB-C charger at my desk. Nothing happened. I checked the cigarette lighter adapter, and it says 5V out. The display says 5V in, so logic dictates a 5V power supply should work. Now, I realize USB power supplies come in various wattages, so maybe this one isn't sufficient? I try another, and another, and then try a few laptop power supplies (which are capable of 5V output, with more than enough watts). None of them worked. At this point, I assumed the device is defective, but I decided to try it with the cigarette adapter. Of course, it fired right up, which makes me think it's using a non-standard output or the input isn't negotiating voltage properly with the charger. Either way, this is a concern for anyone who wants to power this without using the cigarette lighter adapter. With the device functioning, I've done some testing, and can confirm both wired AND wireless Android Auto work on this, and functionality is as expected. The phone is aware of the aspect ratio, and it displays properly. The display is capacitive touch, and works well. There's also some settings related to brightness, what to do when Android devices (and also, as another option, iDevices) are connected, and also audio controls. (Yes, this has a speaker, but it's not terribly loud. Use the audio output options if at all possible!)Now for the other quirks.- This display has what appears to be a 3.5mm jack on the back for a camera input. I cannot find documentation on this.-- Also, in the settings is configuration for video switching in reverse. The display doesn't appear to have any inputs for a reverse signal, so I have no idea how this switching works. It's possible it switches when it gets video input, but without a camera to test with, I can't report back if this is the case.- There's a blue dot on the screen on the very right side, which opens up controls to change the volume and go back home. This should've been a physical button. The home option (at least on Android Auto) isn't needed, since you can return home from the Android Auto interface. So just a volume rocker would get rid of this AND improve the user experience.Final Thoughts:This thing has a few quirks, but for the price it's selling at, it actually does a really really good job. If this was a few hundred more, I'd start knocking off stars. Since it's so much less than that, I'm only knocking off one for the non-standard-ness of the power input. There's zero excuse for any company to misuse a standard like USB, when they could use a regular barrel connector instead and avoid the confusion.

If you have a car that supports CarPlay, this is for you!
If you have a newer car, your car's audio system probably supports CarPlay or AndroidAuto. You can buy CarPlay s or AndroidAutoystems optimized for specific makes and year models of car, which are pretty costly. This Carplay/AndroidAuto system is not like that. It is slimmed down and generalized to work with almost any system, and at a more modest cost. With this system, you have everything the higher cost versions offer, including maps. apps. music and the internet - and more. You can even have Siri operate this system with your voice telling it what to do. A built-in photocell senses light levels and adjusts the brightness of the screen automatically. You can connect via bluetooth, or you can do it through a wired USB connection. You can watch videos on it too! Not while driving, I hope! All this comes through your smartphone. The system automatically connects to your phone as soon as it is powered on. Also, through your phone, the system accesses the GPS to provide directions and maps. It even allows you to use your own logo or image on the startup screen! It is easy to install and use. A cigarette lighter plug supplies power to the device, which has two USB charging ports. The product literature says this system will work on 99% of car models. This system has support for a backup cameraa. A backup camera is not included, but is available separately. I prefer and drive old cars. I ordered this system because I think it will work for my 30-year-old wonder.
