Worked well for 6 months then stopped working. It was nice to adjust the temperature based on tea type but it’s very expensive for 6 months of use. Not recommended.

I've been using this kettle daily to mix up some hydrogen-rich water. I'm not sure if there are any real benefits or not, it still looks and tastes like water to me. There is a collar that fits over the top that allows water to still pass through the spout and it is cutout in the middle to fill the kettle with water. The lid fits securely within this collar. The handle is where most of the technology takes place. Placing the kettle on top of the plugged in base provides the power. There is a digital display on the handle and it is touch activated. Tap through pre-selected temperatures options for suggested beverages. French Press coffee is the hottest boil, other hot water options are black tea, green tea, oolong tea, and delicate tea. The no-boil option is the H2 selection that infuses the water with hydrogen. Make your selection, choose a duration time, and tap the On/Warm selector to get started. We own a fast-boil electric kettle already, but this kettle is not intended to reach maximum temp in record time like that. Also, unlike our fast-boil kettle which we unplug after every use, I leave this one plugged in all the time without fear of it someday glitching and burning the house down. That's not to say that it is slow either. The max capacity is only about a liter, so it doesn't take too long to heat up. You can watch the display to see the temperature rising. There is a low audible beep when ready. If you are making hydrogenated water, you will see a procession of tiny bubbles rise from the center. One thing I notice is that the H2 infusion must generator a small amount of heat--because over time the water is just a skosh over room temp. This product is pricey. However, if you like to make the perfect cup of brew at the right temperature or need the alkaline H2 in your H20, this kettle is for you.

I've been doing some research about the use of extra hydrogen in drinking water. It seems to me that this might be something to try. This is a really lovely tea kettle set, and it has a small footprint with nice clear lines. It would look good on a desk or a little table in an office or at home. I'm planning on keeping mine near where I work, read and do projects. I'll probably use it to make tea but more likely just use it daily to create hydrogen water (H2O setting). First thing before you do anything, know that you should not get the bottom of your glass kettle wet. There should be a big sign on the lid that says this! Instead, you don't find out until you read the instructions. Some people might think otherwise, because it’s glass. Before you even get to use it, you have to sterilize the inside by running it two or three times to a boil and pouring out water. Do not "wash it" in the sink. OK now down to basics: it's easy to fill and it pours really well without spilling a drop. You need to make sure that you put the lid on securely on top. The controls are in the handle: Plug in, set temp or H2O, set “keep warm” duration, turn “ON”. What I love is having an H2O setting that you can just put hydrogen in your water and have it be near you on your desk. It's meant to be a clean, water-only teapot. You never put any tea, coffee, drinks into it directly. The glass is quite thin, but it seems very resilient. I've been using more and more glass appliances and bottles. So I think if you can keep this somewhere on a desk or a small table without many other things or people bumping into it, you'll be fine. It just needs a little bit of delicate handling. It has several temperature settings, so you can differentiate your green tea from your herbal tea from your black tea. It remembers your prior settings. The kettle comes with a really great booklet full of very clear instructions, in a font that I do not need a magnifying glass to read. There is also a "cheat sheet "chart showing you the three basic ways of using the kettle: heating water with no keep-warm setting, heating water with keep-warm setting, and starting it from memory of what you had it set to previously. My one wishes that they would explain the H2O mode. It’s left out and you just have to assume. I can set it to “H2O” and a “warm” duration and press “ON”; then the handle goes dark, which I am assuming it's in standby mode. But you have to wonder if it's done anything or doing anything to your water. I'm not clear how that works and just have to go with it. Since hydrogen water is the point, this seems to be a big omission to me. Also remember to let the pot cool before you fill it with water for a second run because it is made of glass and sudden temperature jolts are bad.

This hydrogen water generator is great if you are looking for the health benefits of hydrogen water. The touch controls are to use and easy to read. I like that this uses glass in place of plastic. You can use this to heat your water for teas and such, or you can use it to simply produce hydrogen rich room temperature water. It doesn’t filter or do anything else to your water, so if your water needs to be filtered you will still need to do that step separately.
