Delicate craftsmanship requires deft handling of materials and tight joinery. to have your dovetails tight, you have to be very careful to detail.. this little jig makes marking dovetails quick and easy, just mark them and get to work.I was expecting something simple and probably expendable, and I was surprised, because this a quality tool expertly crafted, not a cheap knock off. The jig is real machined metal, not tin, or plastic, its scale is very clear, every mark is precise, and the entire piece is powder coated. Feels like a new silver dollar in my hand, I will love the feel of it every time I pick it up. Expertly crafted, first quality metal, I love it.This little jig will will be in easy reach of my workbench. If you need a simple dovetail jig, I'd recommend this one.

It is a nice marking gauge. Black anodized metal of some sort. Edges are not sharp and fairly smooth. Not sure how useful or accurate the inch scale marking are. The tool is very serviceable, but unlikely to become a family heirloom. But for the money, I did not expect it to be.

I have only used the marker one time. My dovetail corner turned out terrible...not because of the marker but from my inexperience on how to make dovetail corners. As for the marker, it is made with quality materials and the edges are crisp and clean. Nice product.

The marker arrived on time and in perfect condition. I'm a newbie at dovetails, so I'm not the best judge, but the marker looks strong and precise. I look forward to working with it!

Awesome little tool for anyone hand cutting dovetails especially this new to the craft like me. This has helped me become more precise with my marks and easy to follow with the saw. A must have.

An instruction paper would be great. I know well how to use, but others may not out ate just learning. Ann instruction paper would sell me one right away if I didn't know how to use the tool. Tips and advice with a little instruction would sell a lot more of these for you. Overall a pretty decent tool.

Sturdy and easy to use. Making about 2 dozen drawers and wanted a jig for this. Reviews were good, cost was great. Made about 7or 8 drawers so far and right on the mark. Strongly recommended.
