great product. My son wanted LEDS on the ceiling but didn't want to see the dots of the led.This was an ideal solution. very flexible and you can trim them. Gives out great light and plenty of options regarding the colours.you are better off using the app to control as it has more functions and you can set timers.only down side was the short length of the sensor cable as the remote has to be in line of sight. My plug was behind the bed so the remote didn't work very well. Easily overcome tho by using the app.

Just fitted them and they look good and the plastic clips are a great idea to keep the lights taut and in place. Didn’t give 5 stars because there are no instructions and the box says there is a dimmer and timer on the lights , but I cannot find this. I only received the plug and the light strip and there is no dimmer or timer on either. Time will tell whether they last but good for the price

I behold a project around these lights and at first they worked fine and I was happy with the overall look and functionality of the product. However, after a day the lights only worked on certain colours and solid colour settings appeared multicoloured. After another day the lights completely stopped working after a short length of the LED strip.This project took some time and I am now forced to either find lights that have the same features (and are not faulty, or completely start again.I am returning my item and will write another review either praising their returns policy or another negative review if they make the process hard.

Arrived all in order, installed and working well. Than four weeks later won’t turn on at all. Slightly difficult to contact seller but once done they were extremely receptive and helpful.New lights delivered and working perfectly again.Thanks

Afternoon, anybody got any idea what extension cable I need for the power? The power for where I want to mount them is further that the length of the cord. Nice lights though!

The media could not be loaded. Ordered 2 of these. One of them was fine but the other was just on at full intensity all of the time. The dimmer done nothing. The seller very quickly sent a replacement item to rectify.

Brill lights so many different settings and easy to use app

Had it up for three weeks, now it won't light up other than a very dim risidual glow as if it's turned off but still receiving a slight charge. Only used for 6 hours at a time 4 days a week and one of the weeks not at all. Really annoying.

This is a pretty bright purple (luckily, it's dimmable)! It's easy to bend and shape but you will need a backing to screw the clips into. There's no provision for cutting and/or joining pieces. The end is capped and glued.I'm still working on the project but I'll try to upload a finished pic once it's done.

Color is seen differently by everyone. I can't see these as purple, but they are a vibrant pink that my grandaughter has up in her room. Very bright when on, and a well-made strip that comes with a power supply. Have to watch out with these light strips. Many of them come without any kind of power adaptor and they just leave that part up to the buyer to figure out.

I had no experience with this type of silicone encased LED strip before so I was excited to give this a try. It is interesting and noteworthy that light only comes out of one side of the strip and that is one of the thin sides. The thicker width of the strip is painted fully white on one side allowing no light to pass and mostly white on the other side with a thin clear center line that does let a little light out.The strip only really bends in two directions but is very flexible. Since light comes out of the thin edge and bends in the opposing directions it means this strip is sitting on what would seem to be its side. This is basically opposite of what you normally experience with an LED strip. This also means this will only work in certain setups and does work well for making shapes on a wall etc. A number of places I thought I would use this, just wouldn’t work because the strip could not bed around the corner with the light shining the direction I needed. Ultimately I placed it under our curved kitchen bar shining down the wall. I could only do this in one direction because of the need to plug the controller into a plug. This means I was forced to expose the side of the light strip with the thin clear line rather than conceal it against the wall. This turned out okay for me (pictures I attached show this) but if you really want the light only to shine down, this might be a deal breaker. Not sure why one side has that little clear strip.The power supply and controller are pretty big so you have a lot to hide if you don’t want this visible. Out of one end of the controller are two adaptors to connect the light strip and one cable with an infrared sensor for the remote. This could all be done in a cleaner way and I am not sure why two connection points are provided for LED strips when you only get one and the power supply isn’t rated to handle more. The instructions also do not mention this.The remote has a lot of nice features and you can call up a lot of colors with just one button. I wish you could adjust the brightness level more linearly but instead you get just three light intensity steps with the remote.Some of the programmed patterns are nice fades and others just the typical flashing. You can set the music functions with the remote and not use the app. The controller seems to have a mic in it that is quite sensitive. I find the music response to be very quick flashing and hard to determine it is sensing a beat. It just seems to flash at any sound which makes it just look like it’s freaking out. In fact the first time I turned that feature on I didn’t think it was working. You can reduce the sensitivity but I didn’t find it improved it enough for my liking.The included clips make installing easy and secure the strip well even when hanging like mine is. Note that this strip does not have any adhesive attached to it.I did not try the app as I am not a fan of loading random apps onto my phone. If I want to control this with my phone I will cut the controller off and replace it with a Zigbee capable controller and connect it to my Philips Hue hub.I wish the controller had a timer function that did more than just turn the strip off after the set number of hours. Other controllers have a timer that will turn off and on in a 24 hour cycle for a given number of hours. I realize this brand intends for you to use the app for that, but it would have been a nice addition considering all the other things you can do with the remote.Overall this is a nice bright, vibrant LED strip for a reasonable price that you can do many things with. Get creative!

I brought these lights strips. I plug them in only half of them works and the other half die. So I return them for a refund.
