Its Stihl, the name speaks for itself with quality.This is the basic model but just the job for hedge cutting.Good adjustment for your head to make it comfortable with a wrap around visor and light weight with vent slots.The ear protection is adequate for hedge cutters but you may want a bit more for chainsaw use, this also has good adjustment with a tight enough fit.

Much better than my old helmet as noice reduction so good. Love the peak on front that acts as a sun visor and the large mesh visor that gives full face protection

Great price but after about 15 hours use the ear muff ratchet mechanism has started to wear and no longer holds the ear piece hard against the ear.Poor product testing. 😕

On the third or fourth use after turning off my chainsaw I swivelled the ear protectors to lie against the sides of the helmet. and the right ear protector broke off. I don't expect poor quality from Stihl as I've been using their products for years and never had any previous faults (my Stihl brush-cutter has been in regular use for 30 years). Top marks to the supplier who provided a replacement speedily. Apart from that, I like the visor but wearing the helmet makes me feel hot. Maybe it's the material on the headband. With what I know now, would I buy this helmet again? No.
