Well made item BUT information states the sizes of pipe that can be used without saying that the bore in the valve is MUCH smaller at approx 20mm. This reduces flow significantly.

We have a lovely waterfall over our new pond, but realised that the sound it makes although lovely during the day when we are sat on the patio, in the still of night could maybe annoy the neighbours in summer when windows are left open. We wanted a way to split the hose so that we could easily divert the water to go back into the pond very quietly and this piece of kit does the job.It was easy to fit and changing from one hose to the other is simplistic, just turn the tap. It also means that in very windy weather when the water blows off the waterfall, we can divert it instead.

Decided I wanted to build the option to drain off the water into my new mini-pond design - and this Y shape goes between the pump and the water feature, with the third leg connected to a hose that allows me to drain away the pond contents. It'll mostly be supplying water to the waterfall - but on the odd occasion if I need to drain the pond, I can flip the switches and use the pump to empty quickly. Sturdy enough plastic.

When the item arrived (one day early) I was surprised by the size. I have rearranged my rainwater butts and managed to fit it in. It seems to work very well. However my only negative is that the 20mm outputs from the tap connectors are very tight. The only way i could get it to fit was hot water and washing up liquid as a lubricant. Probably the 25mm ones are the same - but I haven't used those...

I needed it next day so Amazon was the best bet an enabled me to finish the job on time.The taps work well and enabled us to set the pump and water rate travelling through it perfectly. It worked very well.

Unit comes in 3 parts and easily assembled.Taps on 2 of the 3 pipes to allow flow to be controlled or redirected as required.Good value and promptly delivered.

I used this to split the flow from a powerful pond pump between a filter and waterfall. It was easy to fit with the pipes sliding over the graded ends and secured in place with jubilee clips (which you will need to buy separately. It seems robust enough to last for long time.

I previously bought something similar at my local garden centre, it was nearly twice the price, didn't have taps and had very poor quality screw threads.So to put it simply, this product is twice as good and half the price of my previous 3-way adaptor. My only complaint is it consists of too many pieces which makes it bulky. Why doesn't someone make exactly the same item in a single piece without taps?
