This as a leave-in is incredible! I started trying to use it in the shower, but it didn't seem to condition as well once it rinsed out.Tried it as a leave-in, and it's amazing! It conditions my hair nicely, without leaving it too greasy (don't use as much as you would with a rinse out conditioner; my hair is medium length with a pomp style and I use between a nickel and quarter-sized amount).I use this as a pre-styler before a a pomade/matte cream, and it adds a nice degree of volume and light to medium hold. I do sometimes add mousse after (usually on shampoo days) before the pomade, but you really don't need to with this stuff! It's a great all purpose conditioner, pre-styler, and general awesomeness in a bottle!Regarding the scent, as others have mentioned, it is fairly strong. I, personally, really enjoy it: It smells akin to what I imagine a freshly empty bourbon cask would be like if you put your nose deep in the barrel and inhaled. That said, I can see how it's polarising. It definitely is a masculine scent, and probably not for those that like something more mild. I've actually found myself not wearing cologne sometimes and just letting this stuff act as such. I've even gotten several compliments on it!TL;DR - Try as a leave in, not rinse out, and functions great as a pre-styler cream "mousse." I love the scent; very intense, woody, and masculine, but it isn't for everyone.

Olivia - bring back the large bottle please!!Ok this is what started my whole adventure with Olivia. I bought this 1st and I fell in love with the smell. The conditioner works awesome in the shower, but I truly love using this as a hair cream. IT has minimal hold but the smell is awesome and it doesn't make your hair shining.. The hold is light, so you can run your hand through your hair, and nothing crunchy happens. The smell stays all day too. It's a very light smell.I use less than a pea size, rub hands together untill warm and apply and style. Awesome stuff!! (I have short hair so its main use is smell for me)

The product works well, as a leave-in conditioner that left my hair moisturized and lightly styled throughout the day.However, if I use any more than a nickel-sized amount, the scent is overpowering. It's not a "bad" scent but it's not for me. Too sweet and I don't like smelling it all day.I will be moving to a different brand/scent.

The product works great as both a leave in or traditional conditioner. When left in, it dries without leaving the hair feel as if it has any extra residue in it. My only problem is the price. I originally purchased this product for $10 and it was a great product priced at a very good level for what it is. I just went back to order more and see where the price jumped to $18. I may now look for something else at a different price point with the price hike on this product before reordering this.

I’ve tried it all. Pomades, waxes, pastes - none of them did what I wanted. I have dry hair that tends to stick out all over the place if left unchecked, so I either had to have it really short or use some sticky product. The products always left my hair feeling tacky or greasy (or both).This stuff doesn’t. It provides a little hold, just enough to keep things in the right direction, and if I run my hands through my hair it feels like nothing is on it but still goes back in place. Even in Central Texas humidity it works well. I put a small amount on, use my fingers to get my hair about right, and then let it sit for a few minutes. After that it holds all through the workday.The smell can be a little strong (not bad, just strong) at first but disappates pretty quickly to a light pleasant smell.My hair is fairly short so I can’t say how it will work for longer haired folks, but I think I’ve found what works for me.

Product is good, the only thing I want to add is that the product contains too much alcohol which in turn creates itching on the scalp. Otherwise, all the other ingredients are fine especially no Parabens.

Love the smell! Love the texture! I use this as a leave-in for my curly hair. I have shaved sides with 4-5” long curly hair on top. I have to put product in to weigh down my curls and help give them definition. This cream calms the frizz, while defining my curls in a weightless-feeling manner. I love that it doesn’t add a lot of shine, but gives me a more natural look. The smell is awesome - I can usually smell it on my hair for a few hours and then it’s gone. The smell is like a classic barber shop scent - I love it! I use less of this than the product I was using before, and when applied to damp hair, it works through so easily. Highly recommend!

This is just a great product. if it would only come UNSCENTED. I would use it every day, but I prefer to choose my own "scent."

I don't vote often but this is worth it, best conditionner I used for a while. Indeed expansive but the quality if here for sure.
