Ideal for when its raining outside on a school summer holiday day - and the bonus is that its rechargeable so not eating loads of batteries !! This skims across my tiled hall floor so much better than earlier versions that my boys used to play with when they were little - its a really smooth skim over the floor and the edges of the 'ball' are very foam padded so I'm not too worried about it chipping my skirting boards either. Lights flash whilst its moving around and its a blue and pink combo so very gender neutral too. USB charging wire included. Definitely a cut above the usual type of hovver ball - definitely a robust construction and won't fall apart after a game or two. Decent price too for what you're getting - an easy five stars.

The media could not be loaded. This hover 'ball' really has been good fun on our laminate floor. It comes in a bright, branded box and says it is for ages 3 and up. It is like a mini hovercraft and it really does float. It has blue and red flashing lights and once fully charged, which took around an hour, it ran for a good 25 minutes. It comes with a simple charger with a red light that goes out once it is charged.I'd say this is best suited to very young children as it doesn't perform at its best if kicked hard. It needs to be kicked or pushed with minimal force for a gentle bak and forth game and for that, it worked brilliantly well, bouncing back off the skirting or kitchen plinths. You do need hard, level floors though - it won't work at all on carpet. Lots of fun for the money and a novel idea.

I ordered this as it looked like a great thing to try inside (especially for a rainy day).After full initial charging (I think between 1 - 2 hours) it was ready and I first tried it out on a wooden laminate floor and ... well ... it started good but then it sounded like the battery was running out -- however -- after about another minute it started floating and moving about a little on its own -- so bare this in mind - it might take a minute or so for the motor to get fully up and running (or maybe it was just the one we got).Anyway - once it was floating I gave it a few kicks around our dining room floor against the door and then around the kitchen (ceramic tiles) and it worked very well on both. I did also try it on a thinnish carpet but it didn't go anywhere - so I think it's only best for smooth floors.We had a bit of fun kicking it around our stone tiled conservatory too and it floated quite well there even though the tiles have a slightly raised design.When powered up the lights flash and you can hear the motor but it's not loud at all. It has foam edges which help it bounce of the walls and furniture and prevent damage. It's lightweight but heavy enough to keep on the floor with reasonably sensible kicks. It only flipped when it was kicked against a low ridge / skirting on the floor after being kicked fairly hard - once learned - we avoided doing it again.It lasted about 35 minutes before the battery had run out - not bad at all. After the second charge it lasted about 40 minutes and third charge about 35 again so I'd say expect around 30 mins of play time on a full charge.This is great for a bit of indoor sports fun and the lights I'm sure would delight younger kids.Overall we're very happy with this hover football - good fun and works mostly well (just be patient if it doesn't hover enough when you first use it). Recommended for a great bit of sporty indoor fun :) Thank you :)

Very small not worth the money same item on tic toc for £5

This toy is brilliant. I purchased it for the grand children and have spent hours kicking it around the house myself. If you have a laminated or a tiled floor then this ideal for those surfaces. If you have a high pile carpet then you can forget it as this just floats above the surface, and as the carpet is uneven it will inevitably get stuck. I have tried it on a flattish carpet and it works okay on there, but it really is designed for flat smooth surfaces.I love the mechanism (motor) that pushes out the air and keeps this hovering above the ground and moving by itself. There are no moving parts inside it and this just has flashing lights inside that small dome so there is not a lot that can go wrong with it. It does feel very light, but it is built that way, and has a soft and light bumper around the outside to absorb the shocks when you give it a kick. When you do kick this around the room it just bounces off items and keeps going.You can see right inside the device and you can see the small electric motor that drives it. The thing I can't see is the rechargeable battery, so it must be very small, as this is definitely is a rechargeable device and is supplied with a USB cable that is used to recharge it, which is USB-A at the socket end and a thin barrel connector that goes into the bottom of the device.

The media could not be loaded. Got this to play hover football with my son.Thai hover football comes with a cable to charge it with which can simply be plugged into any USB plug. The ‘football’ has a plastic top and a foam border so it can bounce off things without breaking.To start the fun, you simply turn it on underneath and then flip it over and put it on the ground. The hover ball makes a noise like a handheld vacuum and starts to hover on the floor. If you touch or kick it, it’ll shoot along with wanton abandon until it reaches an obstacle, which it will then gladly bounce off! (See video). It’s supposed to work on any surface but I found it dragged a bit on my carpet, which is especially thick, but ran like a dream in the kitchen and on the patio outside.When it’s running, it has flashing LED lights too so it’s fun to play in the dark as well. We’ve had a right laugh playing with this as it’s a bit like playing shuffle puck but with your feet!Overall, I’m happy with this hover ball. It doesn’t quite work on my carpet as good as it does outside, but with the right surface, this is a great laugh and there’s no risk of broken windows or anything like that due to the fact that it’s floor based and has a foam border.
