After reviewing the reset steps, it appears that anyone with a paper clip would be able to reset the combo?? I must be missing something...

First of all, not anyone with a paper clip can rest the combo, because you have to make the combo number back to your well-setting code at first, then you can start the reset steps 1/2/3 as the instructions on our user manual.
