The Ultimate Fixing Solution for Drylined Walls!
If you’ve ever struggled with securing heavy items to drylined walls, Corefix is an absolute game-changer! Unlike standard wall fixings that risk crushing the plasterboard, Corefix secures directly into the solid wall behind, giving incredible strength and stability.I used these to mount a large wall cabinet and a heavy radiator, and they performed flawlessly. The installation is quick and straightforward—just a drill, hammer, and screwdriver are all you need. The engineered steel core ensures the weight is transferred away from the plasterboard, providing complete peace of mind. What really impressed me was the load capacity—tested up to 250kg on four fixings, these are rock solid. Whether you’re mounting TVs, boilers, cabinets, or sanitary ware, it delivers unmatched reliability better than others fixings I have usedIf you’re a DIYer, plumber, or installer, I’d highly recommend keeping a pack of these on hand. They save time, eliminate the need for extra support, and provide a truly secure fixing. An essential product for anyone working with dot and dab walls!

Absolutely brilliant!
Tried everything to put some shelves up in our kitchen and then someone pointed me in the direction of these. They aren't cheap, but they just work and the fact my shelves are going to stay up now and not pull away from the wall, or damage the plasterboard, they are actually worth the cost. They've left my shelves very strong and secure.Easy to use. 8mm drill (didn't even need hammer action as they've used thermolite block on the inner) bang in the plastic plug, bang in the steel collar, and screw your bracket in with the screws provided.

Brilliant on thermolite/aircrete, even under heavy load
Invaluable for thermolite/aircrete blocks. Recently used to mount 2x sets of shelves, both of which are subject to heavy loads. Allows the weight to be distributed across the various substrates, including front-edge plaster, plasterboard and thermolite behind it. The shelves have been heavily loaded for a number of months now and no hint of any sag - and having drilled and fitted 36 bolts on the first set of shelves, and 54 bolts on the second set, there's also no cracking of adjacent plaster. Win-win.

Used to fit IKEA Boaxel shelving but with different screws
I've previously used Rigifix and DrylinePro fixings to install fixtures to dryline walls. Rigifix are more useful for a couple of mounts for a tv with hefty 8mm fixings. DrylinePro work well with the way they also nicely screw into the plasterboard, but they're not as long as these (only 75mm) so if you've a large gap there is less screw in the wall. With the IKEA Boaxel shelving I needed about 40 fixings so I bought two packs of these. However the problem with the IKEA Boaxel solution is that you are limited to a 8mm screw head, that's all that will fit through the rail. You can't widen the rail to take the 10mm head from these fittings. So I spent ages searching for a similar screw that had was M5 but with a 8mm head. I finally found these SPAX small head screws. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BTG3SNA/ They're super expensive at 40p a screw but they worked in these fittings great. Although IKEA say to use a pan head not a countersunk head screw, they worked okay with the smaller coundersunk head screw. I followed the advice from another reviewer and used a 8mm hammer drill to make the initial hole and widened it carefully with a 10mm bit.Out of 40 fittings I managed to break 2 completely having to remove them from the wall when they didn't fit in flush. A further 2 were about 2-3mm out just due to the difficulty drilling perfect holes with a hammer drill.Note also they do stick out from the wall slightly more than dryline pro (you end up with about 1.5mm sticking out, but this is fine with the IKEA Boaxel shelving rails). I also had contacted the manufacturer to ask for small head screw recommendations but didn't get a response.

The only solution for dot and dab fixing
Mounted a 50” TV to a dot and dab wall using 4 of these and it’s completely solid. These are the only fixings I will use to mount anything to the dot and dab walls in my new build.

Very good product
Very good product.Care must be taken when drilling into hard block as the unusually deep drilling process can cause the drill to wander off course as the block has a variety of materials both soft and hard!
