Elite Vaison Bike Box Review 5*
This box offers superb protection against any possible damage to your bike whilst in transit. I bought it with the hope that it would protect my Specialized Roubaix in a flight from Paris to Exeter. It did!. The bike has to have the wheels and spindels removed, pedals taken off, seat and post removed and the handle removed, then pop the frame in and strap it down, I used some pipe insulation to protect the paint work where the straps touch the bike and this worked very well. I also put my helmet, shoes, tools and other cycling bits and pieces in the box but make sure these are also tied down to 1 of the many tie down points as they will move. Then just lock the box up and your off. The box weighs about 15 kilos empty I think and when it went on the flight scales with everything in it was 28 kilos. I had riden from London to Paris and used the box on the return flight from Paris to Exeter, thinking that they would be caring for the oversized box was a mistake and it was chucked about, on collection of the box I saw that 1 of the corners was dented in so I opened it in front of the airport rep and the box is double skinned and damage was caused. All in all I was very pleased with the box, its a little big, a little heavy but it tows well on the integrated wheels fits well on the roof rack due to the built in guides and protected my bike in air transport.

A well constructed case but with poor locking catches. I had to return this case as the catched would not close and lock. Very Disappointing

Lots of room for the important stuff
Why would you not protect your precious?...lots of room for all your important bits. Actually, because if the volume, it could easily be overloaded . Love it

Poor case - not designed for human use.
Really poor bike case. very hard to move around, with only one handle and no easy lifting points.The designers have clearly not thought about ergonomics.Cheep plastic handle, screws fall out and locking catches do not feel like they will last.Unimpressed.Do not waste your money.
