This is a good wax for slick-back hairstyles. I have a lot of baby hairs and fly-aways, so I need a wax type product to tame them. This does a good job.I don't see a use for this as just a gray hair cover up -- it's quite waxy (as one would expect it to be). As a wax, it's harder to apply near the hairline and look natural. A powder is easier to feather out. But perhaps it'll take more practice and finesse. I don't envision using this as a primary gray coverup over my powder and spray, especially since it feels waxy. But for control of fly-aways, I'm all in.

This wax stick is good for taming those pesky flyaway hairs on the hairline, especially so if you have grays. I don't have gray hairs but I do like using wax sticks to tame those little baby hairs. I don't need the coloring effect of the stick since I don't have grays and my hair is colored with highlights. So I probably won't end up using the wax stick at all. But I do like the comb and brushes included! I had been using a small spoolie but these are so much better.

This arrived from the vendor in a translucent zip lock bag. The coloring was tamper evident shrink wrap sealed, but had no best by date anywhere visible I could find.This works for me to touch up small invasions of gray or white hair, when I really don’t have the time or just don’t want to do a full head dye job.It is waxy, as they said, but it doesn’t appear to be applied or to stand out once you have put it into the hair. It looks great and for quick touch ups, it’s a lifesaver.I’d buy it again.

This item is a hair styling and coloring kit that has a dark brown hair wax stick in a deodorant style twist bottom push up container along with some styling tools. The hair wax stick is just 1.8 inches in diameter and 4 inches high so it's easy to take with you. The tools include a double sided edge and back brush, a teasing hair brush and a rat tail comb. I've used the hair wax to address some pronounced grey on my sideburns. You just twist up some of the wax, put it in you hands (next time I'll be using gloves) and apply it to the area being addressed for color, shape and texture. You can then use the combs and brushes to do any additional styling you desire. Hair wax is really good for adjusting morning bed hair. You do have to clean off your hands and any skin you may have discolored. It comes off with soap, but you may need to repeat a few times. You also need to wash it out before bedtime or you will have stained pillows. Alternatively you can wear one of those hair bonnets to bed. The hair wax does have a mild scent to it, which I'm fine with. I think the price point is pretty good given you get the colored hair wax and the comb and brushes included. I find this to be a useful product.I think the price point for this kit is really good and I find it very useful.

I have been using the regular wax sticks to tame my frizzy hair and flyaways. However I am a brunette, and sometimes there would be little white flex left in my hair. I ordered this product after I saw that I could actually get a different color wax and it has been great! I love using it and minimizing any obvious residue that would stay in my hair. The combs and brushes that come with the product or so convenient to help smooth out the wax and secure the flyaways to the rest of the hair. This is an easy wax stick for quick touch ups and it comes with great tools. I've even applied a little on my brows and it worked well!
