These days everything is about 7.1 surround sound but if you love listening to 2 channel stereo setup then this book is for you. It goes into great detail about the whole 2 channel setup. Everything is explained setup by setup so the reader does not feel confused. It is a good read as everything is explained in plain "English". You can skip chapters if you want, in case some topics don't interest you or apply to you. This is definitely not a Hi-Fi magazine as it does not give any product recommendations, but more like a reference book on the subject of High-End audio.
