OK for side of the bed.. had great effect for lighting the tank, but can be annoying when trying to sleep. Fan on low setting is quiet, not very powerful, but gives just enough cooling to help sleep when directed at the face (I use mine on the bed side cabinet)

Its a shame I cant put no stars.I've now changed the filter today after owning this since the end of May because the filter went mouldy, and I do think I wasn't the first to own this one as the filter shouldn't need replacing after 5 weeks, and it shouldn't be covered in mould.Not only that, the USB socket is now broken, rendering the item useless and destined for the bin. I know the unit itself is low priced but I wouldn't have expected something like a USB socket would be made of something flimsy like tinfoil. I've unplugged it once a couple of days ago when I checked the filter and plugged it back in about 30 minutes ago. I now just get a slight flicker of light on the top. The circuit in the middle of the socket has pretty much disappeared and no connection is being made. I've only plugged it in twice.It's now a few days outside my return window. I'm also stuck with a new filter that cost £14 that I can't return as it's now soaking having put it in and topped the air cooler up with water before discovering it no longer works.I'm almost tempted to put this review on every one of these air coolers on Amazon so that others aren't stuck with a broken one like I am.

For it's size it gives plenty of cool air, i use it in the bedroom

Filter full of mould after a month of use. Flimsy construction. There doesn't seem to be a mechanism to return this faulty product outside of the initial 1 month return window- will call Amazon to see what they can do.

What a waste of money. It's a very expensive night light. The output is very low - I can barely feel a breeze on it's highest fan setting.
