I was trying to keep my elderly mother from getting on a ladder to clean her ceiling fans when I found this. She loves it, says it is easy to use, and most important, she does not need a ladder to clean her ceiling fans now.

Let me begin by saying that I am one who wears the label DISABLED. (I was diagnosed with M.S. 30 years ago. I am always looking for items that can help me help myself. I found one in this product. Took a few minutes to assemble, but once I figured it out, I was getting my kitchen ceiling fans looking better than they have in YEARS! Give it a try-SO worth it!

While the microfiber duster seems to do a good job, the pole, advertised as "telescoping", really just comes apart in four sections and you can use however many sections you need. That's not telescoping. That means if you use only two sections and don't add the other two sections back in before you store it away, you have to store the two sections and the pole separately. It's a nuisance. I would rather have had a real telescoping pole. I haven't washed it yet. The description says to hand wash, but one of the reviews I read says it's machine washable, so we'll see what really works.
