Solid
Came in one piece that’s always a win. The game I would say for the most part is faithful to the ones before and personally I am biased because Max is one of my favorite characters in LIS. Now is it as good as some of the ones before? No. But I would say it is still entertaining and does have elements that make it worth buying. Such as the mew new reality system I find personally to be a fresh take on Max’s powers (I believe there have been variations of her powers in the past in the comics). The story is solid and I will say had some twist I did not expect. Overall the game for me is 8.8/10. I don’t want to say too much because of spoilers.

Great game!
Fantastic game! I played the OG life is strange so it was great to see max as an adult! It would be difficult to understand the story if you hadn't played the original game. Just my opinion

Life Is Strange: Double Exposure Nintendo Switch
A Strong Return to the Life Is Strange Universe with Some Flaws Life Is Strange: Double Exposure on Nintendo Switch delivers a powerful narrative experience that fans of the series will instantly recognize and appreciate. The game once again blends emotional storytelling, character-driven drama, and a supernatural twist, creating a story that feels both familiar and refreshing. The new mystery at the heart of the game is gripping, and the ability to navigate between timelines is a creative mechanic that adds tension and depth to the choices you make. Just like in past entries, the choices feel weighty, and the branching outcomes encourage replayability. Visually, the Switch version holds up well, though it doesn’t reach the same graphical polish as other platforms. The art style still shines, but some textures and lighting effects feel slightly toned down. Performance is mostly stable, but there are occasional frame drops during busier scenes. The voice acting and soundtrack are excellent, helping to pull you deeper into the emotional moments. Where the game falls short is in pacing—some stretches of the story feel slower than necessary, and certain side interactions don’t carry as much impact as in earlier Life Is Strange titles. Still, the central mystery and emotional stakes keep you hooked. Overall, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure is a strong entry for the series on the Switch. It captures the heart of what makes these games special while introducing some new twists, even if it isn’t perfect technically or narratively at every moment. Fans of narrative-driven adventures should definitely give it a try.

So Glad Max is Back!
I have to admit I was a littleee bit nervous (but also excited) finding out there was going to be a new Life is Strange game with Max in it. After years of thinking her story had ended and that there was no way to continue on from the two vastly different possible endings from the first, I didn't know what to expect. Honestly, this game is good. Really good. I've seen a lot of negativity about it, but I think a lot of that stems on the fear of ruining nostalgia and not liking the direction they took with Chloe. I don't want to spoil anything, but they do a nice job of dealing with either ending you chose in the first one fitting into Max's life. They absolutely don't forget that she was a big part of Max's story and she is still a part of this one, just in a different way. There were quite a few references back to the OG game that made me smile (and feel old). I love this more mature and lively 28 year old Max. She's still true to the way she was in the first game but I think they've improved her a lot. The other characters are very likeable as well and the game itself is beautiful. They've come such a long way with graphics and animation. I'm very impressed! I'd absolutely recommend getting this game. I've always held the first Life is Strange dear in my heart, and I enjoyed this just as much.
