Buddy Lee Rope Master

I've used many different jump ropes and this was a very good one for about a week. The connection to the handle broke and after only using it a few days. I was in the middle of moving to the US so wasn't able to try and get a new one

It got cut in half after using it for few months

A nice rope. The cable is like a typical PVC rope you'd get from your local sports shop. The connections to the handles is quite unique and seems to be really good quality, with smooth operation as the rope turns. Using the long handles takes a bit of getting used to but I'm getting it now after only a few sessions with it. Quite an expensive rope though.

Perhaps this rope is way too advanced for my mediocre skipping skills but I can get just as good results with something costing a fiver. Armed with Cheap nylon rope and plastic handles, it's difficult to see why it costs so much. Try a cheap one first, unless you're a first class skipper

I own both the ropemaster and the aero speed buddy Lee jump ropes and have learnt the double jump, crossover and other technical jump rope skills. I bought the rope master first and then the aero speed rope thinking that it would be an upgrade, but i found that the ropemaster actualy spins faster and takes less effort to spin than the aero speed rope because it has longer handles which create greater moments and thefore greater torque from the wrists. Therefore the aero speed rope actualy takes more effort to keep spinning and is less efficient than the Ropemaster.

Not impressed, was at first could do with secondary swivel on each handle, handles were too fragile thought they were going to snap or shatter. Was a good skipping experience until the rope snapped after 3 weeks ( same time as many other mediocre ropes I've tried in the past) then the replacement cord snapped within one week. Buddy lee needs a solid cord of better quality and a different method of attaching it to the handles maybe with a split screw/nut grip like the Nike ropes use. If you need someone to test ropes I'm your man.

Have tried Nike and Adidas ropes but handles uncomfortable and not adjustable. Thus is ideal for beginners and advanced and allows you to build up your skill. More expensive than most but fantastic quality and great to use. Worth paying the extra.

This is a really great item, easy to follow instructions. I have been having difficulty nailing double unders, tried this rope, and first time got 14 in a row.
