SCUBAPRO Seawing Nova Diving Fins

These are a replacement for my existing fins - exact same ones. I’ve had my existing fins for close to a decade and they have been used almost weekly. Pool use is a little tough on fins and the existing fins are showing some give. Will continue to use my old ones in pools and use the new ones for vacation dives.

I bought these for my wife after her original fins finally wore out. I’ve dived with this style in the past will teaching scuba diving for a shop that wanted to sell them so I knew how easy on the legs these fins are. Perfect for my wife who is inclined to leg cramps.

Super pleased with these for both scuba diving and snorkeling. Design allows for a really powerful kick with minimal effort. Really user friendly to get on and off.

I ended up returning this set of fins because we could not get it to fit properly. I recommend going to a local dive shop to try on different fins before purchasing online. Bring your dive boots or socks you plan to wear to try on the fins. These ones come in a great variety of colors. The bungee cord in the back makes them easy to slip on and off between dives. They are a bit heavy but move easily in the water. My husband loves his pair and wears them even when snorkeling or free diving. For me, the top of the shoe box pressed down on the top of my foot in every scenario. The shoe box was also much wider than was confortable for my foot although I do have very narrow feet. According to the size chart, I should be wearing a small, but the small pressed the top of my foot so much it left marks even after short periods of wear. Overall, the fins appear to be very durable and would have been great if they fit me. My search continues.

Works well with my wife's arthritic ankle. First dive she's not had a hurt ankle.

I get discounts for used items. Do not send me a 300$ pair of used fins. Bad form. Bad juju. They were bent from travel. I don't take care of my gear like this. I've bought three pairs. None came like this. Bad form. If it's used, DISCOUNT AND LET US KNOW!!!!!!!! IT CAN AFFECT FUNCTIONALITY BEING BENT. :/

It's all about sizing. I'm a size 13 and I actually measure at 13 1/4. With a 3 mm bootie it's snug and barely stretches the bungee cord heel strap. When I added a 2 mm sock to go along with the 3 mm bootie it felt perfect.. The chart is right, a 5 mm bootie sock combo, size 13, the XL works great.

Love the fins had to order twice. I ordered med and got large by mistake but Amazon made it right and returned them unused. Though the website suggests a large for my foot 10.5 with 3mm boots I found the medium to fit a lot better. The large just felt like my foot was flipping around in it too much with my boots on. The medium I replaced them with fit snug though.

Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und das Produkt war gut verpackt👍🏻 Die Flossen fühlen sich hochwertig an. Das Material Monoprene habe ich so zum ersten Mal gekauft, kann es also daher nicht vergleichen, aber mir gefällt es😊 Die Bungee Straps sind toll. Bisher hatte ich immer Flossen mit geschlossenen Fußteil. Die Straps passen sich viel besser an und sind dadurch auch bequemer. Und man könnte die Flossen auch schnell mal ausziehen wenn Bedarf besteht weil die Straps einen guten Griff haben. (Das ist bei einem Ausstieg mittels Leiter auf ein Boot sehr hilfreich). Unten auf der Sohle befinden sich anti rutsch Kissen (Oberflächengripp)👍🏻 Die Flossen sind leicht und haben einen positiven Auftrieb (sie gehen nicht unter). Mich haben 2 Dinge gestört. 1. Ich persönlich kann die Flossen nicht ohne Neoprensocken tragen. Die Flossen schneiden mir in den Fußrücken (ca auf Höhe des Sprungbeins). Mit Neoprensocken lässt es sich aber ausgleichen👍🏻 2. Der Preis. Ich habe zu einem Zeitpunkt bestellt, in welchem die Flossen auf der Seite des Herstellers günstiger waren. Ich hatte dort noch nie bestellt und habe dann etwas von Rücksendegebühren gelesen. Da ich mir mit der Größe unsicher war, dachte ich, dass ich mit Amazon besser dran wäre, falls ich es zurücksenden muss. Tja. Auf Amazon muss man auch Rücksendegebühren zahlen... Also überlegt euch gut, welche Flosse (Nova, Super Nova oder Gorilla...) und ob es sich nicht lohnt, auf der Website des Herstellers zu bestellen weil es dort teilweise günstiger ist 🙈 zum Glück hat die Größe gepasst🍀 Die Flossen konnten bisher nur im Schwimmbad getestet werden, aber ich war bisher sehr zufrieden (mit Neoprensocken). Da ich zu Krämpfen neige, war für mich noch wichtig; dass die Flossen leicht sind und dennoch einen guten Vortrieb vorweisen können. Das erfüllt die Seawing Nova definitiv. Ich habe nur einen Krampf bekommen, als ich mich komplett verausgabt habe um zu testen in wie weit eine Belastung möglich ist. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen. Ich war bisher eher im Freediver Stil unterwegs, habe aber dieses Jahr spontan meinen Tauchschein in Ägypten gemacht. Ich habe viele Taucher mit diesen Flossen gesehen. Ich wünschte ich hätte diese Flossen beim Tauchen dabei gehabt und nicht meine Freediver Flossen. Im nächsten Urlaub sind die Seawing Nova auf jeden Fall dabei !
