Good sized package for testing your hot tub.
7 in 1 pool and spa test strips. These were on sale for £9.99 when I got them for 150 pieces. Anyone with a hot tub knows that you need to keep an eye on the various levels in the water. These test for total hardness, total chlorine, free chlorine, bromine, total alkalinity, cyanuric acid and pH levels. The results can be seen within a minute and checked against the chart on the container, and allows you to see if you need to add any chemicals to get the water to the right levels.

Works as intended
Comes with loads of strips and easy to use. We have had similar ones and can't fault these at all. Clear and easy instructions

Glad we tested our tub first
I'm glad we got these test strips as we have just re-filled our hot tub for the coming summer and had just topped it up with chlorine. We've actually never really tested the water before, just guessed the levels and used it. After trying one of these test strips, it indicated a high level of chlorine so we are having to leave it a while before we test again to see what the levels have gone down to. I'm now feeling grateful to have these otherwise we may have begun using it with too much chlorine! You get 100 test strips in the tub, so these should last us a good while and so long as the readings are accurate, I would highly recommend having them in before using your pool or tub. 4/5

Great value for money
150 strips included with a whole range of items to test for ensuring your water is spot on. Great value when compared to well known spa brands especially when you have to keep retesting after adding chemicals etc. Easy to use, with results in just over a minute. Great!

Easy to use and read
Lots of strips in a plastic container, great for testing the hot tub - easy to read scale and no issues. Seems similar to the others I use in terms of the colour guide and accuracy.

Easy to use. Work as expected.
These are to test our pool over the year.We do 2 tests a week and only use the pool Late spring to late Autumn so they will easily last the year.We will only be using them for PH testing. They can test forHardnessTotal ChlorineFree ChlorineBromineTotal AlkalinityCyanuric acidPHThey come in a sealed pot. They are not individually sealed once the pot is opened so you might want to stretch a bit of cling film over the lid when re sealing if they are kept by the pool or hot tub or whatever .

About as much use as a chocolate teapot
“7 in 1 Pool and Spa Test Strips” price when reviewed £8.99Although these test strips might seem good value for money, they are pretty useless and misleading. I have compared the results with my regular strips which I have been using for years. Here is the comparison for each reading:Hardness: The colour for each reading hardly varies between values and the sample swatch does not match any of them. UselessTotal chlorine: There is no chlorine in my tub, yet this reads 1 ppm and the colours are not easy to match.Free chlorine: reads 0.5 ppm - I repeat, there is no chlorine in my tub. Also, there is considerable colour variation between the edge and centre of the sample swatch.Bromine: Reads 1 ppm, my other strips say 2ppm - and you could read these that way because of the colour variation across the swatch. Again, you wouldn’t be certain.Total alkalinity: Way off! These read around 120-180ppm, whereas my regular strips say 80ppm.Cyanuric acid: Difficult to colour match - and I have no basis for comparison.pH: These read 8.2 but my regular strips around 7.8 - so a bit high.Overall therefore, these strips are both inaccurate and difficult to use. There are much better alternatives on the market. They are in the bin!

7 results/tests on one strip
150 test strips - each giving 7 results per strip including water hardness, chlorine content, free chlorine, bromine, alkalinity, cyanuric acid and PH level.Comes with a basic instruction leaflet which I found very useful because it gives you a bit of information about each chemical/element and 2 neat tables (one for swimming pools and one for spas) listing the minimum, maximum and ideal readings for each of the 7 chemicals/readings.We tried 2 test strips in our hot tub which we know needs a thorough overhaul and the readings became evident within the 30 seconds recommended time.I need to compare the results with a different set of strip readings to confirm how accurate these are - but I think they are providing correct results.Overall very pleased with these strips and 150 for less than ten pounds seems reasonable; just to need to add the relevant chemicals to get my hot tub water balanced and we're sorted.
