I really can't understand why some people have put good reviews, this product is absolutely horrific when I hoped it would be good(or at least adaquate). The fan is not powerful enough and because of this the thing is bloody useless.

It does not work off a Mains adaptor with USB slot,You will need it plugged into a laptop/or similar with that turned on meaning keeping both on at night,It's too weak at low setting and too loud at high setting, mid is just OK but to loud in the still of a night,Instructions are in very poor English and adds to a very cheap feel to the product.And finally it takes an age to deliver.

Waited ages for delivery. By the time it was delivered, summer is nearly over. Works well though, not too noisy...Well worth the money.

My office is ridiculously hot and really uncomfortable. The fan I had on my desk was loud, and blew my hair around and distracted me. More importantly, though, blowing hot air at me did not help.This unit has made my office pleasant and comfortable for the first time ever. Take the filter out and soak it into wet, fill the tank, then start it up and you will feel lovely cool air gently coming out. Really cool like A/C, not a fan. The speed is adjustable according to the temperature. I like also that you can power it via USB on your laptop or use the traditional plug adapter. It's pretty life changing if you are miserable and feel sick being too hot at work.

This a simple, efficient design to keep cool on a hot day. I just add water to get a cool breeze. There are three fan speeds, and the light on the top is bright enough at dark. We use it to keep cool in our tv room, and in the bedroom. What a great deal!

This item's principle is evaporative cooling, not a little AC unit that blows cold air. It's a big improvement over a regular fan. The water in the filter evaporates and cools the air several degrees depending on the weather. If there is a lot of humidity, not much water is going to evaporate, thus not much cooling. With dry air, more water can evaporate and you can get some impressive cooling. It is more environmental protection and energy saving than AC. I like it.

I got this for myself first to use at work. In summer my office get hot and fans all they do is just blow warm air. I love this! It's my own personal desk. And not noisy at all. Just put water in tank and it ready to go! I loved it so much that I bought one for my coworker.
