KYB 349075 Excel-G Gas Shock

The rumors are true and these are really good. I pair them up with an aftermarket rear sway bar, endlinkis, and lowering springs. I love the ride quality. They are easy to install - give or take 30 min/ea without rushing. Be aware, the shocks come with the mounting kit included!!! I did the mistake to buy a separate kit, but it all good. The bushings which came with the shocks are much better than those from the other mounting kit.

These are really nice shocks that made the rear end of my Altima much quieter and smoothed out the ride taking the bumps. Install was very simple, but be advised - when attaching to the shock mount, hand torque slowly to light force...power tools are not recommended. I learned the hard way :-)

I installed some economy Monroe shocks and they barely lasted 6 months before rattling and making noise. Like others, I notice these are a little stiffer but still ride nice. I did end up ordering the KYB boot for a perfect fit from another retailer for a fraction of the Amazon cost. Took about 20 minutes for each side on my 2014 Altima. Torque specs are 18 ft/lbs for the 13mm upper nuts 81 ft/lbs for the 18mm lower bolt 83 ft/lbs for the lugnuts

It has been over a month since I got the KYB 349075 Excel-G Gas Shocks (two in the rear) installed on my 2014 Nissan Altima. So far, it has been performing well.

One of the shocks package was damage and the item has a dent on one end like it was dropped. I need to install so no time for returns. It fit and installed easily. So far so good. I will put an update after a month or two.

Shock was installed in my 2010 Nissan Altima hybrid. Installing process was fairly easy took me like 30 mins per side. After installing the shocks I took the car for a test drive and noticed a big different between my worn shock vs New shock. On top of that I noticed that the shocks tends to be much more stiffer to Monroe in my past experience. which I think it is good thing when it comes to carrying full passengers or heavy load which doesn’t easily sag the rear car.

Excellent quality shocks replaced factory ones on 2011 Nissan Altima hybrid. These bad boys made it night an day on the road very smooth great deal too!! Highly recommend!!!
