Kesar Mango Pulp

I was cautions in buying this because of the negative reviews. However I'm extremely happy with this can of mango pulp. I got it to try and make Mango Lassi drink like they do in Indian restaurants. I've tried making it with fresh Mangos numerous times and always failed. This pulp was the magic ingredient. It came out absolutely delicious and absolutely perfect. If you follow one of the online recopies for mango lassi do not add any sugar as this pulp is already sweet. For example: 1 cup plain yogurt, 1 cup mango pulp, 1/2 cup of milk and dash of cardamom (optionally). And seriously who cares about dents? Unless you buying one for can collection, dents have no affect on the product inside.

I bought this when the brand I usually buy was not available. I was pleasantly surprised to find there were no pulpy fibers wrapped around my ice cream maker paddle. The flavor is good, too.

Received severely dented and very dusty - not sure if item was properly stored.

Can came dented and with the label ripped off and taped back on. The state of the label shows that this was damaged before it was shipped, not during shipping. Dented cans can contain botulism. There is no way to guarantee this food product will be safe so I had to throw it out.

This mermelada is perhaps the closest to a real mango flavor I recommended
