I got this for a teacher appreciation raffle prize. The journal is well-made and the engraving on it is nicely done. I'm not a fan of the design on the cover (not my preferred aesthetic), but it makes a great gift. I'd love the journal for myself if it was less wordy and just had a simple design on it. I am enjoying this leather journal! I particularly love the color ( reddish/brownish leather) with engraved powerful and positive message. It contains couple papers of plastic business card holders ( works great for anyone in business or serve as a save place to store important business cards). It has one plastic ziplock case at the back of the journal ( on the inside). I store my cellphone and a pen here during my travels. Lots of pages and booklets can be removed and replaced when they have been utilized. Great value for money! Durable and fashionable all in one!

Had a boss moving on and got this as part of a going away basket. The "work bestie" and "eye rolls" fit for my situation. The binder, outside cover, is faux leather, or pleather. The book is actually like a journal, with blank pages. It also has plastic pocket and card holders. There is not a calendar, so not really a journal. Nice part of a gift.
