Great for stevia, herbs, medicines
These are great. The handle is the right size for your hand, but I wanted to put one into the stevia bottle and it is too big. You cannot cut it because it is metal. I tried to fold it, but it is too sturdy. I finally wrapped a hefty rubber band around the bottle and attached it that way. I might go into the garage and use the metal cutter on it, but I haven't been inspired to go that far just yet. Anyway, the price is right. And it does what it is supposed to do. Sturdiness is not a quality for anyone to dish on these days. Not everyone will want to put just one spoon in a stevia bottle. And not every bottle will be too small for the spoon. And it is actually nice that someone make a substantial product anymore. I love it that it is NOT plastic! Small deal for a small serving spoon, but, ya know? It's the details that count sometimes. It's a cool little set of spoons. They're a novelty and very neat. Go for it!

Useful, with the "cute" factor having historical precedent
In cooking or hobbies that require small volume measures (wool dying, beer making, some older cooking recipes), small measuring spoons can be very useful. And these fill the bill for a reasonable price. And they are accurate (though any small measure leaves a large margin of error, because being off by a smidge means being off by--well, a smidge). Some old recipes in fact use measures like "pinch," or "dash," and so in those cases, the names are useful. But for those of us who don't remember the really, really old days, numbers would have been more helpful. But the translation between words and numbers is possible, and then you have a useful set of tools for volume quantities down to 1/64 teaspoon.I found them so helpful, I bought two sets--one for food and one for crafts.

Not perfect, but good enough
These stamped steal spoons don't eschew precision in their manufacturing, but then again, precision is better accomplished through mass, not volume measures. Continuing on that vein, pinch, hint, smidge, and drop aren't exactly precise measures, but all in all, these work well measuring bulk sucralose (1/64 of a teaspoon is roughly equivalent to a teaspoon of sugar). I wish these were measured in fractions of a teaspoon, but for my uses, it works OK.Would I recommend these, not really, but you can definitely do worse. I don't intend to replace these, so I guess they're good enough.

Comes in handy more often than you'd think
I'm not much of a cook, so these aren't used for that in my case. I'd been "guesstimating" the amount of Miralax to give my constipated cat - the vet prescribed 1/8 teaspoon - and my regular set of measuring spoons, the smallest was 1/4 teaspoon. Now I'm able to give her the precise amount. These also came in handy when measuring out powdered stevia. I put mine in the dishwasher and (so far) they haven't rusted. But I don't doubt some of the other reviews here, since they are made in China (I didn't think stainless steel could rust!)

Not only a conversational piece
Yes , these little spoons have already brought on a few conversations & laughs at our house butthey do serve a purpose for cooks like me that try to be so freakin' exact about most recipes andother things too - it's just that when I use Grandma's , Mom's & shared recipes that call for a pinchof this and a dash of that , like most, I'm guessing at what they mean and these measuring spoonstake the guessing and the him and hawing out of the equation . If you are strictly practicalabout such stuff or your budget demands are such then pass on these - for me I'm glad I got them .Bon Appetit !

Outstandingly good for aquarium use!
This is exactly what I was looking for! I am using this for my aquariums. There are times when I don't want to touch my fish's food, and there are other times when I just shouldn't touch their food to avoid cross contamination. These spoons aid in the above as I just pick the size of spoon corresponding to the amount of food I want to give my fish, drop the food in the tank, and continue on with my day. I can even use the very small spoon for grabbing pulverized flakes for baby guppies. Overall, I recommend this set for anyone in the aquarium hobby for feeding their fish.

great for my needs
Thank you N. Colwell. Your measurements encouraged me to purchase these measuring spoons. I got them to measure tiny amounts of powdered food coloring to make macarons. They are very sturdy and will last forever. It would be very easy to add fraction info to the spoons. They may not put that info on because the amounts are so tiny that they cannot get that precise for spoons that only cost $5.95. My husband is going to etch the fractions into the handles for me. BTW, I have found that old recipes are not consistent. I always thought a pinch = 1/8 tsp, but I have seen it where a pinch = 1/16 tsp. For me, at least, consistency is more important that the actual measurements.

a solid average
useful tools, average quality. The bowl portion of my set were all bent at different angles and NONE of them had the top of the bowl flush with the handle (so that it's not possible to scrape off clean level measurements).that said they will do their job acceptably and i needed ' tsp size since my main set only went down to ¼.somebody else figured out that these each are ½ the size of the previous one so:1/8th1/16th1/32th1/64th.I will be putting on actual labels with my label makerYou won't be unsatisfied by the function, you may be less than awed by the form. They will 'get the job done'. I will keep them out of standing water based on other's comments about rusting.-awr
