Seamless Wireless CarPlay – A Must-Have Upgrade!
The Unitek 2 in 1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter has been a game-changer for my driving experience! I was tired of constantly plugging in my phone for Apple CarPlay, and this adapter has completely eliminated that hassle. It quickly converts my wired CarPlay to wireless, and the connection is seamless. Setup was incredibly simple—just plug it in, and it automatically paired with my iPhone in seconds. One of the best features is the fast auto-reconnect. I never have to fiddle with settings or reconnect manually—it syncs up every time I get in the car. I’ve been using it for over a week now, and the connection has been stable, with no noticeable lag or interruptions, even when using navigation or streaming music. The adapter is compact and doesn’t take up much space, which is a big plus. It also works with Android Auto, making it versatile for anyone who switches between devices. Overall, this is a fantastic upgrade for anyone tired of dealing with cables and wants the convenience of wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Performance: Unitek 2-in-1 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Adapter Review
Looking at the other 1 star review, it seems like this product does not work with Hyundai's. Because it also does not work with my 2019 Hyundai Elantra with my Samsung Galaxy S22+Regrettably, I can only give the adapter a one-star rating. Despite its promising features and sleek appearance, this product falls short in its primary function—delivering reliable wireless connectivity for CarPlay and Android Auto. From the outset, the adapter feels well-built and sturdy, suggesting a quality product. However, looks can be deceiving, as its performance leaves much to be desired. Despite multiple attempts to set up and troubleshoot, the adapter simply does not function as intended. It fails to establish any connection with my car's infotainment system, rendering it useless for its intended purpose.Given its inability to perform the one task it was designed for, I cannot recommend the Unitek adapter to others. While the build quality may be commendable, it ultimately pales in comparison to the disappointment of its non-functionality.

Works OK. Audio stutters
EDITAfter using this adapter a bit more, I have to take off one more star, unfortunately. The audio skips. Sometimes it plays fine for a minute or two, which is how it passed initial tests, but sometimes it stutters and jumps every few seconds. I know it's not the phone, since it works totally fine via bluetooth and also worked totally fine with a rental with wireless AndroidAuto.----ORIGINAL REVIEWI have a 2018 Honda that has the wired version of CarPlay and AndroidAuto. I have a Samsung phone so I never even tried CarPlay. Wired version works well. Recently, I had the experience or renting a newer car (2023) that had the wireless version of AndroidAuto, and I knew I could not go back to wired. This is how I started looking at wireless AndroidAuto adapters. Surprisingly, most of the adapters out there are for CarPlay only, so I was excited when I came across this one.Out of the box, the adapter feels quite small and sturdy. It has nylon braided USB dongle cord that's like half a foot and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, just in case. Overall, it's diminutive size means it's very easy to tuck away somewhere. Set up was simple enough: plug it into the car and connect via Bluetooth. The rest is done for you. What threw me off initially is that while my phone would report that Android Auto is connected, my car would indicate that nothing is connected to AndroidAuto. After awhile of poking about, I decided to run CarPlay app on the car and - lo - there was my AndroidAuto inside of CarPlay. This wasn't in the instructions and not a super obvious thing to try. Once I figure out that part, the rest seemed to work quite well. There's a bit of lag, but nothing too serious (< 0.5s). The resolution actually ended up being higher than the wired version, which is great, b/c it allows me to see more of the map during driving. The only downside is that pinch/spread two finger gesture doesn't work on CarPlay. I believe this is a CarPlay limitation, however, and not anything inherent to the adapter.-1 star because of the clumsiness of these solution - I was expecting a true AndroidAuto - tho it did end up working OK in the end.
