Listing should show Sizing Guide
So far so good. Just laced them, so we'll see how long they last. I measured my son's laces that his skates came with and rounded down to the nearest size - ordered 108". (My son wears a size 4 skate) They ended up way longer that the originals so he must be able to pull laces much tighter! I wish the listing had showed the sizing guide on the back of the box:Youth 8 - Junior 3 : 72" / 182 cmJunior 3.5 - 5.5 : 84" / 213 cmAdult 5.5 - 7 : 96" / 243 cmAdult 7 - 9 : 108" / 274 cmAdult 9 - 11 : 120" / 304 cmAdult 11 - 13 : 130" / 330 cmUpdated Oct 2019 - My kid outgrew the skates long before the laces wear was even considered. Durable laces.

Personalize your hockey skates, and look fancy on the ice!
I purchased these in purple to complement my Bauer Vapor hockey skates. Folks at the skating rink kept commenting on my laces, and I like that it makes me stand out from others on the ice. This is a dark purple color, which I wanted, so if you want a brighter shade, look elsewhere. The waxed laces make a world of difference from the cotton ones that come with the skates. When I tighten these, I can feel (and see) that they stay in place, which keeps my skates tighter overall.A note on sizing: My skate size is a Bauer Senior 6, and the 96" laces work perfectly. If you have new skates (like I did), keep in mind that as they break in, you'll be able to tighten them more, so you'll gradually have more lace length to tie. At first, it may seem like just enough, but don't order a size up, or you'll have a crazy long amount hanging down.

Wax isn't over the top.
Compared to previous waxed laces we've used, these laces aren't overly waxed. Previous laces have felt waxy when you tie/untie them whereas these feel more like a standard lace. To me, this helps when tying/untying because the overly waxy feeling laces can be slippery after a game especially. These hold just as tight and we've had no issues with them coming loose during the few months of practice/games they've been used.

Replace the stock work boot laces with these
I pretty much break all the laces in my work boots about two the three months after I buy new boots. After working the snow in Canada and learning about the advantages of waxed ice hockey laces in work boots in winter conditions, I also noted that they were much more durable and the wax made them less floppy and easier to thread. So now all my new work boots get waxed hockey laces to replace the stock laces. Recommend.

Not much wax, but laces last
Received the item quickly, as promised. There was really no detectable wax, and the flat thin lace ends have a very thin layer of plastic. The laces do not bite so they do little to hold your skate tight. Lacing up my skates, I concluded that the ends of would not stand up. After a few months skating playing competitive men’s league couple of times weekly, the end of the laces have surprisingly held together as have the laces. But the little wax never did it’s job. I'm guessing that it saved a few cents in the production cost.

Zero complaints
I have purchased various laces of the same brand for the past few years and always impressed by the quality. I don't end up replacing the laces because of breakdown, I end up replacing laces because I'm extra and like different colors... and all the different colors I have are of this same brand because they're proven as far as I'm concerned.

More wax in my ears
I'm sure they will hold up like any other lace. But in 25 years of hockey these are the weakest "waxed laces" I've ever had. If they are at all. Honestly, I don't think they are. I didn't return because my last pair broke and I had a game. My local pro shop was closed when I got there. They will work, but I feel cheated and won't purchase again.

Immediate Difference!!
Just starting this year I began skating with my friends. I went to a local store and bought a pair of used skates with beat up soles and laces. So after skating on them for a month, hurting my ankles and seeming like they just couldn't stay tight. I decided to purchase these laces. It was an immediate difference!I could tie my skates tighter, they were easier to tie, I could apply my weight better, and overall they looked a lot less beat up.If you need some new laces and/or are having problems with loose skates. Do yourself a favor and try these.

Great Laces
I bought these for my little brother - for his Bauer ice skates - he informs me, on good authority, that the laces work wonderfully and are easy to thread. They look great on and were a great price. So I would recommend them.

They haven't broken!
I'm not sure what to write in a review of shoelaces, but amazon has asked me to write one and so all I can say is that they arrived on time, they are the specified length and colour and they haven't broken yet.
