This stuff is just as good as the expensive brands. The ingredients make my skin a clear, smooth canvas and grabs and holds on the my foundation. I will be only ordering this from now on. No more smashbox

The three times I have used this with my good quality makeup, my makeup has not budged. After hosting a 7 hour event (8 hours from the time I put my makeup on and then sprayed this fixer), I looked in the mirror and was shocked to see that my makeup looked fresh. It pretty much looked exactly the way it did 8 hours earlier, no joke. I’m very pleased with this product and highly recommend it. I don’t wear makeup a lot, but when I do, I think it’s important to use a product like this to keep the makeup from smudging and running. This spray is a good one at a reasonable price. If you’re a make up enthusiast, don’t hesitate. Get it!

Ibhave bought Elf pink primer before and it made my skin so smooth feeling. Thought I would try this as its more wallet friendly. It's amazing. I put some on my cheek when I got it this morning. It feels so smooth. Im impressed something so inexpensive actually works!

I think this probably works best for younger skin with few flaws. I'm 47 and it works well for applying foundation smoothly. However it doesn't fill in pores or lines. Still good product.

WOW, where has this been my whole life?! I’ve been looking for a dupe for L’Oréal’s Magic Perfecting Base Primer and haven’t had any luck. I happened across this primer, and was very skeptical because it was so inexpensive. But I bought 2 of them and I am amazed at the blurring power this primer has! It blends in so nice and soft and it sets to a soft matte finish. Makeup goes on top of this primer like silk! It is not like the Loreal Magic Perfecting Base Primer because of the consistency, but it definitely blurs and just feels amazing all day. This is by far my new favorite! I highly recommend that you just give it a try. There’s definitely some magic in these little tubes!

I did a ludicrous amount of research on grippy, dewy, hydrating primers before buying this—YouTube videos, reviews, etc—so that’s what I thought this was. It isn’t. This is one of those silky, mattefying , pore-smoothing primers: the kind that Smashbox first made famous. As such, it’s great! Also— as such—it’s at a nice price point. Ergo, three stars. However, as with all such products, the tube is pretty tiny. If you use it once a day, full face, it’ll be gone in less than two weeks.

I love the way this primer feels. It is very soft and almost velvety feeling. It helps your makeup stay on all day without caking up. And for less than $5 you absolutely can’t beat it!

This is a great dupe for other, more expensive clear dimethicone primers including Master Prime, Baby Skin Pore Eraser, and some non-drugstore brands. For me, it works perfectly. I use a matte foundation, and when I put the primer down first, I'm using less than half of the amount of foundation because it makes the foundation go so much further. If you don't like clear primers, this isn't for you. But if you do, you'll probably like this.
