Whether it's reading the fine text on health insurance cards or detecting elusive splinters from weekend gardening, this magnifier has risen to the occasion, providing just the right degree of magnification without becoming excessive.The integrated LED lighting is without a doubt an important feature. The aggravation of juggling a flashlight and magnifying glass was all too common, frequently resulting in unnecessary mistakes rather than a successful splinter removal. Now, with a single click, the LEDs light up the task at hand effortlessly and brightly. This simplifies the procedure while also ensuring that what I'm doing is thorough.Perhaps my favorite use for this magnifying glass is during my nighttime readings. The soft, yet adequate light helps me to read my Bible without disturbing my husband's sleep. It's a tiny convenience, but it considerably improves my nighttime routine.While it may not suit people who require higher magnification, it is ideal for ordinary work and small text. I picked this up for a machinist friend of mine who just turned 60. He's had this brass magnifying glass for the 10 years I've known him for reading small numbers on machining prints. These are like 7- or 8-point font. I noticed more recently that he was laying a flashlight next to the numbers he was trying to read before busting out the magnifying glass. Having seen him do this a number of times, I thought to myself that there has to be a better way to do this. So, when this lighted magnifying glass popped up, I ordered it and gifted it to him when it arrived. While he couldn't bring himself to throw out the brass relic from the 1950's (it was his father's magnifying glass apparently), he did retire it in favor of this new unit. The 4x magnification is perfect for reading drawings or blueprints. The LED lights are plenty bright. It seems solid and it's not an overly heavy slab of brass so you can hold this much longer without your hands getting tired. I only have one complaint. I wish it was not bright white. It can be wiped clean easy enough but the white shows all the dirt and grime. If you don't know what machine shops are like., they are direct, greasy, and dusty places. Minor gripe and doesn't hurt the performance. It's just an observation. If you need readers or use a magnifying glass on a semi-regular basis, this is a great option. I could see seniors using this for reading or doing word searches or sudoku or whatever puzzle books they like to do to pass the time.

This mirror gives just a right amount of magnification and the added LED lights makes it a huge plus. I like that it is rechargeable, and the magnification and mirror itself are very clear. It is made of a very sturdy plastic casing however it feels extremely durable.

The media could not be loaded.  I love the price on this for 10 or $11. You definitely can’t go wrong especially adding the fact that it comes with batteries. It takes two AAA‘s and those are used to turn on the LED light. You do not have to use the batteries for this to work. The magnifying glass works regardless of batteries. The batteries are for the light. It magnifies very well and this will work great for stubborn tiny splinters, which is what I wanted it for.

This STRONGARM LED Lighted High Power Magnifying Glass is lightweight and does a good job at magnification both with and without the background lighting.It comes with the magnifying glass and with 2 AAA batteries.There are 3 light settings. The middle setting is the off setting, the down switch position is the low setting and illuminates one blue led light, and the up or high setting illuminates 5 bright led lights.I originally got this for help with threading needles , help seeing cut lines on vinyl for crafting and for reading very small print. Today I found a new use, for finding those tiny little eyebrow hairs that you may not see with the naked eye. I was able to get a good 5 hairs that were not visible prior to getting this.As crazy as it sounds I was able to use this magnification glass next to my bathroom vanity mirror first by looking into the magnification glass (no lights on) and then flipping the handheld and using the lights on the magnification glass to illuminate my brows thus highlighting and using the reflection. This is truly better then my lighted desktop magnification mirror and so much easier to use as you have more control since it is small and easily maneuverable.I am definitely happy with this magnification glass and definitely recommend it.
