I have tried several brands of Soy Curls.Con's (if any): not good raw , some others aren't bad. But that is not what this food is intended fortakes a little longer to hydrate than others (30 min)Pro's: best price/ozExtremely tender. They have the exact consistancy of chicken. Best product so far!

Absolute BEST dried soy strips
Absolute best dried soy strips I've ever had. NO weird aftertaste. I reconstitute 10 minutes in boiling water heavily flavored with chicken bouillon. Even the remaining liquid is delicious. These soy strips look and have both TEXTURE and taste that is excellent. After my first bite I couldn't stop having "just one more".Especially important to me is the ingredient list: Soy flour and water.I can use it in all my "chik'n" dishes (or keep snacking because they're that good). I imagine that by changing the broth I reconstitute them in to a beefier bouillon, I could easily make them taste like THAT. Versatility plus long shelf-life and excellent price point -- What's not to love?Not a paid endorsement - just a very happy customer.

Great Replacement for Meat in Lots of Dishes
Really good! The price and quality of the product is better than another brand I used. I have used it to make barbecue "chicken" sandwiches, for "chicken" stew and in soups that normally use chicken. Very good taste. No strange underlying flavor and the texture is very much like chicken or other meat. Per the label, it has 12 grams of protein for each 30 gram serving. Very easy to prep for use. I definitely recommend this product.

They make amazing vegan jerky at a great price. We had to order another 2 packs the same day we got these since we scarfed 2/3 of the lot as soon as the jerky was ready. They'd also work as protein strips in almost anything

Good and versatile
This was my first time using dried soy strips and I had some fun experimenting. I tried making vegan jerky and it turned out alright but I wasn't crazy about the recipe I was using. It had this weird taste which I didn't know if it was from the marinade I used or these soy strips. I made a really salty, vinegary and spicy marinade, but the end result was kind of sweet and lacking all those other flavors. Next time I will try something different before I make any conclusions.It was super easy to use. The recipe I was using said to let them soak in hot water for 15 minutes. I found they rehydrated very quickly. The texture of the dried jerky was interesting but good. I'm excited to keep experimenting with these.

Easy to use and just soaks in flavors ...
These soy strips rehydrate with minimal effort and can be flavored with anything you choose. They absorb flavor like a sponge and with most applications, you can't even really tell it is soy (if that isn't generally something you like).
