Fairly easy to use once you read the directions. Mostly bought this to mix up Anycibic craftsman resin. Better temp control would be nice, lowest setting is 40c seems a bit high. Would be amazing if it had better temp setting and the ability to heat with out mixing.

I bought this item on July 30, put it in service in Aug. It is now Mid November and it has suddenly failed. It powers up but then just beeps if any mixing is attempted. This is too short a life span for this somewhat over priced item. Perhaps manufacturer will standby and replace. If so I will up rating.EDIT: I contacted vendor and after some back and forth they have replaced the unit. New unit seems to work fine, I have revised my review a second time and changed back to 4 stars. Unit price has dropped a little since my initial review but still seems a bit high for the unit but better than other nearly identical products. Vendor response times were excellent. Better than previous expereinces with other amazon vendors. I like the unit to keep resins mixed or when coloring or blending material. Heating is also a nice feature as it not only helps mixing and it save some time while heating vat in printer.After some time with replacement unit....I would say quality is a bit lacking...surface of control panel keeps popping out...can stick it back on but appears to be held in only by adhesive. And of a pain to keep missing with it...probably I will tape to glue it down. I do not have alot of hours on this unit yet but seems to function ok.And sadly my replacement unit has failed. Same ar original it now no longer mixes. I conclude the electronic controls are weak there was no leak or any reason I can find for failure, just no power to the rotating motor. I may attempt a repair as the overall unit seems ok just needs better controls. A couple of mechanical switches would be a better way to go, though not quite as flexible as the electronic controller. Dropping another star.

You really need to plan ahead if you are going to introduce this into your workflow because it takes some time.My 3D printing setup is in the basement of our East Coast house and during the winter months, it can be down in the high 50's. Normally, I would take the bottles upstairs for a time so that they can get warm while I'm preparing the 3D model, etc. This resin mixer helps mitigate that step a little bit in that I can leave the bottle downstairs in the mixer to get warm while I prepare. The bonus is, that it will continue to mix while it gets warm, even after I've shaken the bottle.Fit & Finish: Both are solid. I expected it to be a bit cheaper quality but was pleasantly surprised that the materials are good, the buttons function as they should, and the function is pretty simple and not overly complicated.Overall it works well given enough time before printing. Most of the bottles I have fit. I do have one or two bigger bottles that don't fit and a few square bottles that won't work either. In general, it's a nice to have but not a necessary tool for what I do.

Typically when resin 3D printing, I just give the bottle a vigorous shake and pour it into the vat. This method has worked well for me and I have never ran into any issues. However, I came across this device and I figured it could mix resin and heat it for a bubble free and optimal temp resin. I live in Texas, so my resin is never cold and my shake method as worked without fail. So, for me this is simply a luxury to make me look sophisticated! LOL! The good news is that the device does work and does what is says. If you live in a climate with cold winters or your running a 3D print farm and want to mix and heat resin while you're doing other tasks... then you may benefit from this! All-in-all, it does what it says!

I like to combine resins in order to make them strong enough for figure articulation. I've been using this mixer and it has reduced the amount of fatigue ill have haha.Jokes aside, it mixed my resins well and reliably. It's unfortunate that it's only compatible with round bottles when there are so many in other shapes, but it works. The screen is okay and is easy to navigate once you get the hang of it.Other than that, I would definitely recommend this if you mix resins often and want to a more efficient way.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great addition to anyone with a 3D printer resin setup. Even if you don't use it for heat, the ability to mix without bubbles is really great. This is a "set it and forget it" kind of operation, you can just put the resin in there and let it rotate and mix and then come back later and load it up and create your 3D object on the resin printer.It easily accommodates all of my 500ml and 1000ml cylinder bottles (obviously you can't use rectangle pour jugs with this unit).The unit use the included 24v 2a barrel plug power adapter to power it.On high heat, it gets REALLY HOT, enough that you'd want to make sure you don't have people who don't understand that come in and handle the mixer or touch the shiny surfaces.The controls are "ok" but they could have taken an extra 30 seconds to think about icons that would have made more sense for no heat, medium heat, high heat.This is a great heater and mixer for cylinder resin bottles.
